It’s clean and the staff is friendly whenever I come in!

I would like the pool to be a more consistent temp. Somedays it is really nice and then the next day it is too cold

The Schalmo Y is convenient for Canal Fulton and Lawrence Twp residents to get to. It's a beautiful full service facility with a huge swimming pool! The staff is very friendly there. I run into old friends often and have made many new friends. Our family loves this place!!

This is the 3rd Y in Stark County I have visited and it is by far the cleanest.
The ladies shower area is a better design than the other two.
It is usually not crowded in the gym or pool.
They appear to advertise their summer activities for kids much better simply by posting flyers in the main lobby instead of expecting us to "go online and look".
It takes me a bit longer to drive to Canal Fulton, but I prefer this location over the others.

I have really been enjoying the classes there. Tuesday night pound class has been awesome! I would love to see a kickboxing class offered here!

The programs are great and the people that work there are so friendly and helpful. I love that it is a smaller scale YMCA, it just makes you feel more comfortable.

The Schalmo Family Y was very clean. Staff was professional and courteous. I like the small town atmosphere where I don't feel judged.

Vanessa did a wonderful job with the class she taught. My daughter is very shy and refused to participate for the first 20 minutes. Vanessa gave her the space she needed and slowly encouraged her. She had an amazing time!

It's Great..... I (try) to meet my sister there twice a week for Silver Sneakers. All the teachers are great and attentive to our age limited abilities.......I'm having a good time as well as doing something good mentally and physically.

I've used the water aerobics as well and enjoyed that too.

The equipment room is great for all ages and levels.

We enjoy the lunch/seminars too

I love the Silver Sneakers program. This has helped me so much with my balance. I go every Monday and Friday. I hate when I have to miss which isn't often, or I try to go another day. I also really appreciate the programs. I'm going to the one on Wednesday to help seniors. These meetings have not only been informational but they have been very helpful, steering me in the right direction.

We are very happy with our membership, but the biggest benefit is the child watch. My daughter loves the teachers, and its easy to get her to go in.
