My daughter has gone to other’s math classes but she felt the homework was too much and was getting stressed, but at mathanesium she enjoys going and learning. This is the best tutoring place my child has ever been to!!! Her grades have improved significantly and she loves all of the instructors there. Jim is great and flexible. He understands the needs of the kids and their parents and will accommodate as it is humanly possible.
My son has been there for a month now and was initially fearful about his skills. He did not want to go to class or feel frustrated. He now looks forward to class and I can see his confidence building up as he works and learns. The prizes are a big plus with him as well.

My teenage son has an inexplicable fear of taking tests and math tests are the worst. As a result he shies away from applying himself to understanding and retaining the principles of mathematics. We registered him at the Union location to help him get more comfortable and confident with basic mathematical themes. He is comfortable with the Union staff and his grades have gone up. The next milestone is to get him confident in his independent math abilities which is so important for his adult years.
My kids were having so much trouble and were left woefully behind after remote learning through the pandemic. They constantly felt horrible about approaching any topic in math and were missing the foundation to even be able to catch up. Thanks to Union Mathnasium they've been making strides and aren't getting frustrated. They are taking tests and feeling much more confident in their understanding which has improved their skill and scores. I couldn't be happier and neither could they.
I have really enjoyed the experience so far and I truly believe it will benefit my daughter in the future. The center director James is so accommodating and is always willing to work with you. His demeanor has made it much easier and allows my daughter to move at a pace she is comfortable with.

James and Alex are the best! James is so flexible and approachable. I have had a few circumstances where we were running late or had to reschedule and he never once made me feel like it was an inconvenience. James’ professionalism and overall demeanor makes Noah and want to keep coming in versus doing virtual. My son went from a satisfactory in Math to an excellent. Alex has been Noah’s teacher and I think that consistency in dealing with Alex has contributed to that success! Alex is so patient and sweet with my son. I am so happy with the choice to have my son attend Mathnasium and have already recommended this to other friends of my so .
So far my son is engaged and keeping pace with his math class.

Not only has Mathnasium helped instill confidence in my kids when it comes to math, it has actually made them interested in challenging themselves and I never thought I would hear them asking to do more to get better. It used to be difficult to get them to even want to go for tutoring, but they've been able to build up the skills that they just didn't understand when taught in school. Now one of my kids is actually asking for additional work to help with SAT prep and considering taking more math over the summer; talk about a 180 degree turn around, it's been amazing to see.
