My boys love this camp
My child enjoys the camp because it offers many different activities.
My child is excited to go. He has made new friends, he enjoys swimming, and he looks forward to the daily activities.
Super Summer camp has been excellent. The staff is extremely helpful, caring and hold great communication. Pick and drop off is very quick and organized and most importantly my children love it. Whenever I have a question or concern it is attended to with a solution. The weekly trips and activities make camp so exciting. I really thank the staff and the directors of this camp for a wonderful summer experience.

My daughter is having a blast this summer meeting new friends, and she LOVES her counselors Rebecca, Carlo, and Elias. The activities and feedback I get from her daily on how much fun she's having confirms this was the right choice for her summer!
The camp is amazing, friendly and conscientious staff, great activities and a wonderful atmosphere/community feel. Everything is organized so well that I feel like my child is in good hands and having the best summer!
My son absolutely loves camp! and all the counselors and Mr. J are all amazing!
The teen experience has been nice because of the field trips. The kids are older and that helps keep them busy.
The super summer is good, it could be better organized, oftentimes my son has arrived for a cooking lesson and the instructor is not there. The art could be a bit more advanced add more crafts projects etc. He loves nature, science, gym time, pool volleyball and the extras when they do a field trip or have something that comes to camp.
Drop off and pick up has been seamless so that has been nice.
I don't like that Livingston pulled their town pool out of the mix.
I don't like that they don't have enough board games for the kids at the YMCA after camp is over and feel there can be more outdoor games the counselors and kis can play on the lawns (which is happening more) before pick up instead of the kids just sitting there.
Hours are great
The pools and range of activities offered. Hours and drop off/pickup are very convenient for working parents. My son comes home very happy every day!

Everything has been absolutely lovely so far. Drop off and pick up are easy, my son is incredibly happy and stimulated mentally and physically, and there has been really great communication around what they are doing every week and what to expect. I have zero complains and nothing but great things to say.
If you want to be part of the Y you are not only a member you are part of the Y family.
All of the staff goes above and beyond to ensure the safety of the kids and no day goes without an adventure!
Big shout out to Lisa and Jay for running such and amazing summer program and also Mr persey who is by far the best part of dropping your child off to before care.
I also cannot forget miss Maria and miss Fran.
Every staff member over the years becomes closer to your children and family and that is what makes the Y different!

I love this West Essex Camp! This is my daughter's second year. We referred another parent/child in our community that is also attending this year!

My kids never want to leave!! They look forward to seeing their friends every day and get sad if I take them on a day trip that causes them to miss camp!
The communication is very strong as well. I love the emails which I can reference throughout the week and the private Facebook group!
As someone who’s concerned over my daughter’s safety and well being I have had a zero concerns. It’s a fun experience, counselors are fun and there are direct lines of communication with the YMCA camp counselors all day.

My kids like the activities and have fun with the counselors. Having counselors with a positive, fun, friendly attitude is very important to making the kids feel comfortable. And you seem to be accomplishing that.
