My son attended the YMCA morning care at Merriam Avenue this school year, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them! My son has some special needs, and they were attentive, communicated well with me, and made the mornings enjoyable for him, as he loved going! He and his sister will attend in the fall. It is very comforting sending your child to a care facility where he is safe, attended to, learning, loved, and having fun!

When enrolling, my phone calls were returned and everyone was friendly.

I love how responsive they are with me and get back to me right away, they’re great with communicating! Whenever they can take the kids outside, weather permitting, they will! They have so many fun activities for my child to do and she’s always so happy when I pick her up!

The opportunity for my son to have a fun, loving environment to be at afterschool. There is homework time, snack, and playtime. My son has even learned some new games and how to craft certain things. He is also having a chance to develop his artistic skills through coloring and drawing. I am truly grateful and appreciative of the program.

The staff are great, thank you Ms. Amy, Ms. Nora, and Ms. Mikaela! My daughter comes home every day from aftercare so excited about her extra time with friends and talks the whole car ride about the activities that they did. I personally love that they ensure her homework is done and that she’s safe and well cared for.

Aftercare with the Y has been a lifesaver for our family so I can work. My kids LOVE it since they were in kindergarten. Mr. Scott has made a big difference in their lives. Can’t thank you enough
