The Y has been an irreplaceable support for our family. You provide exceptional programming that supports the lives of 2 working parents along with the growing needs of creative, active kids who want to be outside. You fill in when we need you the most and our kids love the programming so much that they always ask to stay longer!
I would recommend the SACC experience to everyone since my child had a great experience. It was easy to communicate any changes to before and aftercare to the people on site, and from an admin point of view. My child made many new friends with older and younger kids during aftercare, and it is a big advantage for kids to play with others not in their class or grade.

Great staff, great programming.
The staff are so friendly and engaged with my child. Also, I’ve been so impressed with the activities and planned events that happen during aftercare. It has surpassed my expectations! My daughter loves aftercare, and doesn’t want to come home.

We love the Y!! We'd be lost without it as working parents-- we've had the pleasure of meeting so many caring adults who shower our kids with kindness and support. We literally can't imagine the past few years without the support of the South Mountain before and after care crew at Tuscan.
Very engaged staff members who genuinely care for the kids. Lots of games and activities to reach kids with very different interests. And the late hours, availability on half days, and program offerings during breaks have been life changing for our family.
The staff are generous with their time and attention to our daughter. They welcome her with a smile every day. We don’t know what we’d do without this team. Huge gratitude for the entire staff who make our daughter feel safe and loved.

Wonderful staff!
The hours are convenient and my son likes having time to hang out with his friends after school. He often comes home with his homework already finished. The staff is always responsive and shows that they care for my child.
You guys are doing a much better job at Tuscan this year than last year. The kids are really enjoying it.
The staff is caring and fun for my son. At the end of the day, my main concern is that he is watched and cared for after school while I am at work--and that is accomplished.
We have the most wonderful, kind, incredible teachers who work tirelessly to care for and educate our child. These teachers are the champions of our entire community, and I wouldn't be the parent I am today without the full staff.
We have always loved the Y and would recommend it to anyone who lives in the area!!
I love that there are a lot of different activities for the kids to do, and that the time is never fully unstructured. My child is able to complete their homework most nights, which is a huge help, and the staff have always been wonderful.
It is wonderful to know that while I'm at work, my child is in a safe spot where he can play games, have a snack, hang out with friends, and do art projects. The SACC staff work so hard and still have smiles on their faces at 6 p.m. - kudos to them.
The way the SACC staff greet Auri each morning makes me more than comfortable about dropping her off early in the morning.
We love the staff at St Joseph’s! They are incredible under the leadership of Kayla! They are all amazing! They are kind, attentive and so much fun! We are grateful.
My biggest concern is how to monitor the digital devices that are bright in. I just wish that they had a no digital device policy for aftercare. Part of why we choose aftercare is to keep kids engaged with activities and other kids, instead of on screens. I know it’s hard bc some kids have homework on their computer, but maybe just a 10 minute quick hw on screen designated time (if you need it) and then no screens the rest of the time. If one kid has their laptop, others want to join in so it becomes really tricky to monitor, plus even younger grades can be exposed to YouTube on other kids devices, without parental supervision. I wish there is a way it could be a tech free environment. I think it would be safer for kids emotionally. It might mean kids have to do digital homework at home (or in a designated area for a short period of time) but it would protect all kids. Again, we absolutely love it, but this has become a concern.
