The camp is great so far. The girls love all the activities and it’s a safe place where bullying is not tolerated.

My grandchildren love the MCE Summer Camp. They love all the activities, they love the camp counselors and trips. My oldest is up and dressed at 5:30 am when we don't leave til 7:45 lol. This is our 2nd year and Amarie is happy she has 1 more year to attend. I wish I would have known about this camp in 2021.

I’ve been with the why for 8 years. Each year I come back and along with my family.
My children love it and the counselors as well.
Young, respectful, and kind. Trips each week and keep the kids active which they need. Our children in our community needs the same amount or even more love and cherish-able moments as any other YMCA.
I love it. And I also admire seeing the same staff from years before.

That my son likes to go back every year! The staff is great! His day is full with activities and he gets to make new friends. I definitely will continue to refer other families to the summer camp.

At first, I didn't think I wanted to send my daughter to camp because she is only 4 years old and I had some worries. However, I am so happy that I decided to send her to the YMCA this summer. Everyday when I pick her up Kamdyn asks can she go back tomorrow. I love that she is excited about meeting new friends and is having a great camp experience. I would highly recommend the YMCA to anyone looking for a fun and positive summer for their children.

I like that Mona’i comes home happy, she also says that the staff interact with the children and not just sit there. Wonderful staff keep putting smiles on these children faces. We appreciate you all

The activities and interactions of staff with children

The counselors really engage with the kids and plan educational and fun activities. My son loved it.

First for taking me at the last minute as a camper.

Also the staff was very nice and helpful from the front desk all the way down to the young camp counselors.

I will definitely recommend anyone who needs the YMCA.

The staff are top notch. They reflect the community where representation is integral to our impressionable youth. The specialties and activities offered are extremely creative and engaging and the trips are well thought out and ag appropriate for my camper. Great job!

The East Orange YMCA summer camp for the one week my kids were there had great organization and friendly staff. It’s a great feeling when I picked up my kids and they did not want to leave. I hours and length of program are great for working moms. I switched my kids to mayor of excellence and it’s not the same. My oldest son want to go back to East Orange location. He felt more connected to the staff and other campers.
Next year they both looking forward to returning to the East Orange location.
