I love everything--the dedicated staff who go above and beyond, the choice of activities, the twice a day swimming. My kids have thoroughly enjoyed their experience this summer at Blue Mountain Day Camp.

My kids love FVL so much. They mostly love the counselors. I love how diverse it is, especially the counselors. Where else do you see young black teenagers in roles of leadership? It's really magical. The counselors are so great with the kids.

I loved all the outdoor activities and the lack of technology. Every night my camper came home with a story of Pally the horse or building a fort.

They have a variety of activities and the kids love it. However. The check in process needs to change there is no reason to sit in line in your car for over an hour when we don’t even need to check in down at regular camp. An hour is absolutely insane. The old process worked just fine.

There are so many great outdoor activities. My child has been excited every day to go to camp. I have never seen him this excited.

How inclusive they are with my son who has ASD. They make sure he is well taken care of and enjoys everything along with the other kids.

My kids are really enjoying their experience there. The facility is beautiful, every week you offer different activities to keep it interesting. My kids are doing activities that they probably would not be exposed to as a kid. They are engaging with other kids and making friends. This experience keeps them from staying home all day and playing video games. They already said they want to go back next year!! Thank you for giving my kids a fun summer.

What a fantastic camp experience for Harlow! She was thrilled with the diverse activities and developed a wonderful bond with her counselor. It was such a positive time that she's already counting down the days until she can go back!

The counselors were kind amd fun, and there was plenty of time with the horses. Also, the cabins were nice and the food was good.

We enjoyed the the new experience of a play and soooo much more!

My daughter has been going to this camp for 4 years now. She looks forward to going to camp every year! She meets new kids every year and has some returning friends she gets excited to see again. The camp counselors are great and have made each summer memorable for my daughter. So thankful for the opportunity my daughter has to learn and explore every day at camp.

This was my daughter’s first time away at sleep away camp. She absolutely loved it and wants to go back again for longer. I was also impressed with the comprehensive communication I was given by camp administration leading up to the experience! Highly recommended!

This camp is wonderful. My son looks forward to the 2 weeks he goes here each summer.

Our son LOVES going to camp here. The campus is beautiful, the staff is kind and competent, and the activities are fun.

This was his third year, and we look forward to him continuing his BMDC experience each year, as he grows.

My kids love it!

This is the first year we have tried blue mountain day camp for our 3 boys and it is awesome. So many fun activities for them and keeps them busy and excited to try new things. Would recommend 1000% percent…we will be back next year! Thank you YMCA!

The best camp EVER!

Organized,well run and great counselors!

Our son loved Ranch Camp! He loved being able to care for one horse that was carefully chose for him after a thorough assessment of his skills and comfort level. He loved being able to ride every day and to learn more about how to build his equestrian skills. He loved evening activities where he got to participate in field games and take advantage of others parts of the Fairview facilities. Our son is not much of a swimmer, but this week he loved swimming in the lake! Since coming home, he has taught us camp songs, games, and community building activities that definitely enriched his time - and is now enriching our whole family! He spoke highly of all his counselors, commenting on their fun and kindness. From his comments, we could tell there are rigorous and thoughtful systems in place to ensure camper safety and well being at Fairview Lake. We highly recommend Fairview Lake Ranch Camp to anyone interested in learning more about how to care for and ride horses, and for anyone looking for a fantastic experience with sleep away. I like that it gives kids who are new to sleepaway camp a chance to try it out for just a week. My son loved the big swing, the mountain slide, and being able to spend time with friends. He also said he really liked all of his counselors. They were great with him when he was feeling homesick.

Staff are excellent! Son is tired!

My grandson is attending and is having the time of his life. He will be 13 in July and is so so happy at your camp. He even tells me all about it, I usually get "it was great." Not this time, he talks and talks about his day!!
