The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most members are as well. My favorite part is being able to play pickleball. It is such a great way to meet new people. The gym equipment is of high quality, up-to-date and clean. I also enjoy the classes included with membership. I like the "gentle yoga" on M & W @ 1PM. I wish I could take advantage of the classes more often; but, I try as much as I can. I also like the point system. It's fun to be a bit competitive and I am holding out to get a session with a personal trainer.
The Y is 5 minutes from our home. The Jump Start class is exactly what I need in my recovery from a heart attack and stroke. It allows me to go at my own pace but at the same time challenging. The fitness equipment is also available when ready.

Staff is great, facility is typically clean, although there are times when I come in and the trash has not been taken care of. As I typically visit early it;s possibly due to the closing shift nt being able to attend to it. Overall a great facility

The YMCA is clean and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming! The equipment is always working and well maintained!! The work out room is always comfortable (climate controlled nicely). It’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of this facility…

I love the class that I take, people are very friendly, atmosphere is great, their classes are so interesting, one can enter them at any time, I like the small room with exercise equipment, they also have a very large exercise room, my Zumba teacher is awesome, she creates a great atmosphere with much fun.
Desert Foothills YMCA in Arizona is an oasis for community, fitness, and well being. Having been a member of several fitness clubs/gyms in the past, and places of worship, the Y embodies the best of both. In less than a year our family has gained new friendships, attended welcoming social events, and most importantly changed the trajectory of our health.
The fitness classes meet the needs of different members based upon their unique physical conditions. The gym has a wide range of equipment for various levels and types of training... well maintained, and clean. If swimming is your thing, the pool staff is OUTSTANDING! From lessons for infants building their confidence, and parent safety awareness in the water, to water aerobics, and motivating coaching for advanced and senior swimmers, and attentive lifeguards - they are a team working like a dolphin pod!

I enjoy the Chair Yoga classes every Tuesday and Thursday. VI love the stretching and exercise it gives me. I also enjoy the social time it provides .
