Friendly staff. Good variety of equipment
Relatively smaller compared to other Y's such as Coppell and Frisco, but also not as crowded on a daily basis - Equipment availability and types are very good - Enjoy the separate gym areas for different types of exercises such as TRX
Outdoor pool is nice during the summer season, but availability of lap lanes are limited, especially during the workweek, as it is extremely committed to exercise classes, swim teams and possibly staff levels, but this also is an issue for Coppell but they are year round so lap lanes are more accessible there.
I like the friendliness of the staff, the variety of activities, the opportunity for personal training, and everything in general.
i love how friendly everyone is. And the classes are geared for people like me who haven't worked out much so it's a great place to get started and stay on the health journey.
The Cross Timbers YMCA in Flower Mound is "Top Notch" with a great staff and excellent equipment and spaces for workouts and group exercises / sports. Thank You for all you do to make visiting the YMCA a pleasure !!
Convenient location
I love my classes there… I go six days a week!
I enjoyed my visit the other day. I live in the GP area however I work in Flower Mound so it’s nice to step in from time to time. The staff is very nice and recognized me after a few visits. Also the fitness area was very clean. Definitely would recommend to any of my friend.
Very nice people.. Very clean and good equipment.
My family and I received the warmest welcome from the staff, especially from Miss Morgan, when we joined the YMCA Family. We toured the entire facility. We were very impressed by the equipment and the classes offered. We look forward to being apart of the YMCA!

Love the employees and friends I have made at the Y!
Chair yoga and talking to like minded people.
Welcoming and friendly.
The Y has good instructors, classes, staff and community. Upkeep of facility and older equipment could be addressed.
My 7 year old son has ADHD and is addicted to screen time. I put him in this camp just to get a change of scenery and because I went to a camp like this. It sounded like so much fun. Let me tell you - he never once complained and it changed his entire personality. He's so much more confident and acts like such a big boy now. He came home covered in dirt regaling me work stories of the stuff he learned that day. I can't wait for next summer! Be prepared for a dirty kid, dirty clothes, lost items and an experience to remember! ❤️
Cross Timbers YMCA offers a range of activities for all ages, but I particularly appreciate those that are available for the more mature members now that I am firmly in that category. The equipment is widely varied, the instructors are excellent, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the coffee tables are a great place to sit and chat with others who also enjoy it all.
I like that you can see into the childcare room from the front desk. That makes me feel more comfortable leaving my kiddo in there.
YMCA CTF has dedicated swim instructors willing to work in 104-degree heat to teach swimming to kids.
I’d highly recommend it. Just wish there will be more early morning (between 6-9am) and evening (after 7pm) classes available for ppl who work.
I first started going to the YMCA in 1963 where I learned how to swim at summer camp. It was quite a distance from where I lived and I had to take the bus that they provided in New Brunswick, NJ. I went to summer camp until I was too old. When we moved to Texas in 1988, my son went to summer camp until he was too old. I joined in 1989 and have been coming here on and off since then. I am involved with the seniors and enjoy it

Great staff. Great teachers for many varied classes
Hello Coach Trent,
Thank you for the excellent swim lessons you've provided for my kid. We've seen significant improvements in his skills and confidence in his form. Your patience, encouragement, and explicit instruction have been instrumental in his progress. We're grateful for your dedication and the positive environment you create during lessons. Kudos to YMCA Coppell Swim instructors for pushing kids to excel and grow.
Keep up the great work, and we're excited to see Suyash continue to develop under your guidance!
