Great experience

My granddaughter is now out-thinking me when it comes to doing math in her head. I have been helping her with math homework for 3+ years now and since joining Mathnasium, demands on my help have dropped to almost zero.

Just recently she has shown the ability to out-calculate me in her head and when I check her results, she's correct! In a very short period of time, she went from mediocre results (she suffered a concussion and lost some math ability) to where she can perform 4+ digit math IN HER HEAD. Gone are the days of removing shoes and socks to get to the extra "10 toes" to work with (10 fingers are never enough).

Joking aside, my daughter and I find ourselves thinking we wish we had gone to Mathnasium when we were my granddaughter's age. It would have made my life a WHOLE LOT EASIER!

All I can say is that the plan they constructed for her to work thru is working. YAY!

My daughter really enjoys her sessions and all of the different instructors. She is very engaged and challenged but not too much. Enough to have her confidence build when she can use the tools she's learning to push through a new problem.

I've appreciated the continued math support for my student. The cost is hard on the household but I have seen the growth.

My daughter has told us great things about her experience, its been helping with math and using different strategies, and the instructors were very helpful. Overall, mathnasium has helped improve her math skills.

Both of my children have been attending Mathnasium for the past two years, and the growth we’ve seen—not only in their math skills but also in their confidence—has been incredible. My 7th grader often shares that she already knows the material before it’s even introduced in class, and her classmates now look to her for help! That’s a huge shift from where we started.

The instructors are consistently patient, friendly, and engaging. Konner and Marzenna, the Directors, go above and beyond. They truly listen to feedback and work with me to make sure the learning plan reflects what my children are working on in school—or any areas they might have missed. They’ve even built in supplemental lessons when needed, and they’re always open to reteaching concepts and helping with homework when things don’t quite click the first time.

What I appreciate most is how much they welcome parent involvement. It really feels like a team effort to support my kids’ success in a well-rounded way. We’re so grateful to be part of the Mathnasium family!

Very accommodating and friendly staff. My daughter has improved on her math skills since she started in April. I love her to continue improve her math skills and be more confident.

The tutoring is on the slow side but the program only progresses until the student 100% gets the material covered.

Our daughter fell behind in Math when her former school was not tending to their pacing guide. For two years, her testing scores were below average due to lack of accessibility (instruction) to curriculum. Mid way through the second year at this school, we knew we needed to make a change; immediate change was signing up for Mathnasium supports. This last June we received this year’s testing results, after a year an a half at Mathnasium and a changed academic environment, our child is finally is back to above standard in Math, she is academically motivated and she has goals of taking Algebra as future 8th grader. Mathnasium has been an instrumental support in getting our child back on track. It is an organized and thorough program and the environment has a positive social emotional climate. We will forever be grateful to Marzena, Connor and Staff.

We love the program and the instructors. They are very accommodation (schedule changes) and the instructors are patient with the kids and encouraging. We signed up thinking it would be a short term thing but have decided to stay on.

The kids really enjoy their time with the tutors each week. We will continue to use the services that Mathnasium provides during the school year.

It is a laid back learning environment. I see my child's confidence in math increasing. My only grip is the noisy siblings waiting in the wait area. Otherwise, all the staff and tutors are nice and easy to work with.

I’ve seen a change on my daughter’s attitude when it comes to Math. She excited and eager to learn every time I drop her off to the center. Although it’s a long process, I see her confidence is starting to build up. I hope she will get better and better.

We absolutely love bringing our 12 year old daughter to Mathnasium. They have an organized system to work with students at their own individualized pace, meeting their academic math goals exactly where they are needed. Whenever I have had any questions or concerns, the administration staff has provided time to listen and has proven their care over my daughter's math success again and again.

My child has had a great time. He enjoys doing math now and his confidence in taking on harder math problems is improving. He likes playing games and hanging out with the tutors there as well.

Mathnasium has played a crucial role in educating my granddaughter, who faced difficulties in math due to the impact of Covid-19. Nearly two entire school years of learning were lost, but during her time at Mathnasium, she has made significant progress. Not only has she gained valuable mathematical knowledge, but her self-esteem and confidence have also greatly improved. I am deeply grateful to the entire team in Monterey for their patience, dedication and support, which has enabled her to achieve new milestones in a positive and encouraging environment.

Our granddaughter was starting to struggle with fractions in math and thought it would be a good idea to get the foundation of basic fractions and math facts down. She is doing extremely well and loves going as they make it fun and feels safe and comfortable with the staff as they are very encouraging and supportive to her needs. It's a win-win!

Kids are really like this place, the way they teach help them build solid foundation at math.

Mathnasium has been a great place for my son to successfully catch up on the math skills he lost over the pandemic/summer time periods, confidently maintain the math skills he's kept along the way and to eagerly look forward to all of the new, challenging math skills that present themselves at every new skill level.
