The focus on swimming, calendar schedule (I'm an Open Swim member), the care provided for the pool conditions (consistent comfortable temperature, water clarity) are very much appreciated.
For constructive feedback the showers being open, with no privacy, is something as a modest person I am coping with but an area I would recommend for attention.
My daughter is attending swim lessons with coach El, and we are very pleased with his approach. I have seen progress with swim techniques in my daughter, thanks to Coach EL.
I totally recommend him, and will enroll my daughter in his classes.
Team wise all good! But in order to accommodate parents during the pickup and drop, they should arrange lobby place to wait in Somerville YMCA! Since we don’t have any place to wait due to construction work, most of the parents are hanging around the deck! Time being you should allow to sit in the deck!

Great pool and staff ever
I’ve been swimming at the Bridgewater YMCA pool since 1980, and have always been impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of the pool staff, including lifeguards.
We lap swimmers are friendly and considerate, requiring only clean, comfortable pool water and
clean, safe and comfortable shower water and locker room.
There are times when routine maintenance matters are reported but slow to get attention, but we understand the constraints of budget and complexity of managing priorities of the multiple Y facilities.
I am 96 years of age, and attribute my longevity and good health in large part to my regular use of the Bridgewater Y pool over the past 45 years.

The pool is great
The wonderful pool. As a lap swimmer, a facility that is “pool only,” reduces traffic in the building and makes for a great exercise experience. I love swimming in the deep end. Feels like swimming in the Caribbean!

The pool is crystal clear, the swimming lanes are wide and the lifeguards are consistent and attentive and on top of their game.
Aqua zumba was fun!

The water temperature was comfortable.
It's a great pool, but sometimes there is no/ very little swim time for regular Y members.
It is great but you should fix the showers in the mens locker room so that you are not wasting thousands of gallons of water everyday.
I enjoy the staff at the Somerville YMCA, They are friendly and helpful.
