What a wonderful surprise Kirk Family Y has been for me. I used to be a regular at a different Y, but switched to downtown and found a home! The Kirk Family YMCA is a welcoming place.. I am a regular at water serobics and appreciate the pool staff for their professionalism and their warmth..
Kirk Family YMCA has been a great place to get a work out. Everyone is always friendly and the facilities are always nice and everything is functioning as it should.

Basketball court in the center of the workout floor, there are big TVs that are usually on and no one changes the channels on them. And there’s a pool. I like the aesthetics of concrete and the amount of workout equipment to member ratio that happens when I am there.

Great facility and updated equipment. I would like to see later hours. The basketball court is too slick sometimes, particularly in the winter.
The gym is very clean and there is plenty of equipment. The 5:00 a.m. crowd is very kind and respectful. No one hogs the machines. Everyone gets their workout in and goes on about their day.

Clean safe
The facilities (pool) are beautiful. The lap lanes are cold, but it's good for you, so it's just a matter of getting used to them. They have a hot tub, sauna, and steam room. The people who work there are really nice and knowledgeable. Parking is free for members and its easy to get a spot.
The front desk staff were helpful and friendly, it feels like a good value, the facilities are well equipped and clean, parking is fairly simple for downtown, and the lifeguard offered me his goggles when he realized I wasn't aware I needed some while swimming laps! I have another gym membership for a closer gym and do many other forms of exercise (cycling, running and bootcamps outdoors) but for the price, it is nice to have a pool and other indoor facilities to go to when I need to rotate other forms of exercise in.
The water temperature in the activity pool is consistent. The life guards are friendly and helpful.
The building and amenities are EXACTLY what I was looking for. The staff is friendly and everyone so far seems to be super kind. The track overlooking everything is one of my favorite features.

Nice equipment. Class variety is good. Clean. Instructors, especially Eric G, are motivating and fun.
I like to swim so I was waiting for a land to become free. Just as one was opening up someone else , who had nit been waiting, just walked in front of me and started using the pool. There needs to be some kind of organized way that people can take a number and when their number comes up then they get to swim. Im just throwing ideas out , but I really think something should be done.
Great facility for working out/exercising. The locker room (mens) is still not cleaned regularly or deeply. That is my only reservation about this place.
The space is welcoming, beautiful with a contemporary feel and there are always enough machines to go around. Never long waits.

I enjoy my YMCA. I love the fact that it is open at 5 AM. I also love the fact that some of the people know you by name and you become family.
