We love the Y, esp after the facelift!
I love the sense of community at the Y.
I enjoy the steam room in the men's locker room after a workout, followed by a shower.
Not all gyms have steam rooms.
The upgrades in the Park Street YMCA were much needed and the upgrades look good.
Excellent facilities, friendly staff.
Variety of fitness classes offered for seniors.
The staff, the guards, maintenance of the small pool all are the “best of the best”. The consistency of water temperature in the small pool is maintained ( although a little warmer would be welcomed😂). Nevertheless Montclair YMCA is top of the line in Aquatics. Bravo to all!
I like the improvements in the locker room and the pool. Thank you.
I like the cardio room & the new training area with the ropes. I also like that there is a track.
I have been coming to the Y for many years now.
Variety of classes available including pickle ball clinics
My senior strength and balance classes. I wish there were more of them.
Convenient
I like that the Y is a non-profit and has a positive mission in the community.

Clean facility variety of classes friendly atmosphere
A welcoming environment to exercise. The most recent reconfiguration updates have utilized the space more efficiently.
The people my Y family. The energizing music the teachers play in classes. And I love the activities. I love to swim and I enjoy pickleball.
I just wish that fundraisers were included in the price of membership.
I love the Y’s classes and the friendships I have made.
Variety and number of classes.
Wonderful staff, great equipment and facility.
It has alot of classes to try everyday
It’s accessible, has lots of activities and great hours.
The people are friendly. I like the new equipment.

I appreciate your asking this. The Y is convenient to home and my wife and I are usually there 2x a day all days of the week. The class offerings have been steadily improving. I like to jog on the track when classes are in session and my wife attends ALL of the yoga offerings.
The expansion of the weights into what was the Holmes room is excellent. The new color scheme is cheap, though, and poorly conceived. Coney Island Fun House?
Thank you for re-tiling the men's locker room. It's absolutely beautiful! BUT what have you put down on the floor? The light-weight mats are a tripping hazard, since they roll up on the ends. That Brillo runner is just that. I understand why it's there but barefoot on Brillo is no fun.
Thank you for the hose in the steam room. It's really the only way to get the steam to turn on. Whoever wrote the sign on the door has never experienced the lack of steam personally. {With all the beautiful tile work, the 15-20 loose tiles couldn't be fixed?}
Again, thank you for listening...........
