Friendly, welcoming staff
I like the variety of classes and instructors and easy access to the gym. It is nearby. The front desk staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and always welcoming. Recently there has been hot coffee available in the the sitting area. It’s a treat to sit for a few minutes and enjoy it.( I don’t mind bringing my own cup). It encourages camaraderie. When I have the time, I enjoy perusing a book or magazine while I sip a coffee. Visiting the Manlius YMCA is a great start to my day.

I like most everything, however the blatant social justice virtue signaling should stay out of the gym. It's parents responsibility, not the place of the of the Y to educate on woke activism.

We love open field time on the turf on the weekends. We enjoy being able to play with family in small numbers and also to play pickup games of soccer with other families that want to play but are not over-serious about soccer.

My husband and I are taking Pickleball 101. The staff at the Manlius YMCA is great - helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. There is plenty of parking and the facilities are clean and accommodating.
Close to my home. Not very crowded and can get to equipment easily. Quick to get in and out.

New tennis courts, great classes
All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The classes are always on time and taught by well trained folks who are always happy to help and to give alternatives to accommodate different abilities. Also, it is clean and well maintained.

Great instructors!
I am 83 and do the treadmill and the weight machines. I use the y between 1pm to 3pm.
I like the fact there are no screaming kids. Most of the kids are teenagers.
I used to go to Fayetteville and that was a zoo. A lot of my friends used to go to the old track and racket which did not cater to kids. They don't go to the Fayetteville y because of that.
Welcoming staff! Great front desk! Intimate club like atmosphere. no “zoo” here!! Plenty of equipment, love the turf! And most importantly our beautiful tennis courts. (No more pickle lines please). But pickle peeps are certainly welcome. Great instruction for them also available. - big shout out to Sue Daly- pickleball Instructor extraordinaire! Thank you Sue.
