In the past, two factors contributed to our having a problem with mice in our home: 1) winter time seemed to drive the mice into our basement and eventually upstairs, and 2) the absence of a cat in our home. This year, during winter, and after we had to surrender our cat to the animal shelter, we did not have any mice in our home during the winter.
