Lots of classes, child care, clean, amenities and friendly staff.
I especially like the "Glitz" class and was able to try "Shine" a couple times when Luba substituted for Sara in the group exercise program. Both instructors are excellent and the choreo provides wonderful aerobic exercise.
I also really enjoyed the Pickleball for Beginners class on Thursdays at 11:30AM to learn pickleball for the very first time. I attended 2 classes with Lynn and she is an excellent instructor giving valuable pointers to help improve our skills.
my home YMCA is the Northwest Y but they do not offer these classes (although I suggested Glitz twice) so I drive specially to the Southwest Y for these classes.

Good dance room floor
I have done pool exercises for over twenty five years, and need that to keep my knee replacement working good without weight baring exercises. Very grateful!

The instructors are welcoming and patient carefully describing and modeling new moves.

The instructor does a good job in getting the kids to overcome their fear. Both of my kids love the swimming class.

i like the use of technology to make it easy for me to keep track of my exercise sessions. Also the other uses of tech to make signing in easy.
I like the little lockable cubbyholes to temporarily store personal items (keys, wallet, phone) while exercising since those are in the way and are uncomfortable for some of the exercises.
Friendly, helpful people at the front desk.
I like that the toilets are clean - I think this is partly due to the efforts of the staff, and also is partly due to the decency of the people who use the Y.
I wish there was a tech-enabled weight scale so I could weigh myself and it would allow me to see the results over time on your website, similar to how I can already see my exercise information.
Stretching room.
The Y offers a wide variety of programs and activities that is suitable for a wide range of ages. Very young members through older adults will find enjoyable and useful offerings.
Great aqua aerobics classes, good mix of classes, good instructors and staff.
I enjoy the classes I attend for water aerobics. Each teacher has their own style, strength, and creativity when in front of their class. These instructors really care. I enjoy being in the workout room and whoever is there and helps me in such a professional manner and very knowledgeable, I am in gratitude to. I also enjoy the creative art classes I’ve attended. And, a yoga class occasionally is always great. I am so happy to be a member of the YMCA.
very nice swimming pool
I love the Y and it's been a lifesaver to me, an 87 year old woman who has always been active. I love the e-machines, the eliptical, the Tai Chi and Pickle Ball. I also love the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to listen.
I love everything you have to offer from the swimming to classes, work out and weight room. My son will love the basket ball and other things. I am so happy you are close to our home! I am the one who had the scooter accident on the way to the Y, and got six stitches in my head, Ambulance ride to the ER and I couldn't remember if any of the men were handsome! (I was asked) That has healed and now I have another scrape healing, I will soon be back there if force and my son Zoltan will be joining me. He is a real kick! I love everyone who works at the Y. They are all very outgoing, kind and understanding, You are welcome to hire me for advertising services!!!
