We like how serious you actually take *learning* swimming. AVAC is great, and every parent in this area knows about it, but we’ve told EVERYONE that YMCA swim in South Valley is the best kept not-so-secret secret. We’re moving and are still considering figuring out a way to get over there.

The programs and activities offer a wide range of exercise options and other activities. I especially appreciate the ability to choose from more strenuous to lighter exercises as I get older. I also like that the Y offers group activities now like the monthly book club.

The Sta Teresa facility is right-sized for easy accessibility and friendly interactions with staff. I also appreciate the indoor PB court very much and the Pilates and Dance classes I take. (I've lived in the area for 25 yrs+ but never made the 6 min drive--or tried the place--til 2023.)
