Helpful staff
Helpful friendly people in clean environment.
A variety of programs tailored to entire families as well as many seniors.
Variety of programs, friendliness of staff. It's a feeling of community.
Pool is wonderful but lately Aqua classes are being cancelled. Seems like a shortage of instructors...?
There are so many options
Actually, I would appreciate an unlocked room with mirrors, weights, bands, bosu, etc. for my workout.
Too crowded upstairs.
Enjoy
I like gym which I used a lot. Every time I do cycling, elliptical or treadmill which are good cardio exercises.
Terrific instructors
Appropriate exercises
Weather
Pool warm enough
Environment
Joyce's 10:15 Class Flex and fit or something. Great for me, because I am a bit older. Margo in the machine room is very helpful.
Some group instructors are highly trained....(Doods and Celine). I attend most of their classes.
I like your ping pong program. Your weight room is great also. The people are all great.
I like the swimming programs and the facility in general in addition to the friendly staff.
The El Camino Y is a good place for adults wanting a gym, while still serving families. It's not at all chaotic which is great. The large lockers are well designed to hold things easily. The showers have great water pressure. The week day hours are wonderful.
very friendly programs
Yoga class and nice facilities
Lots of space (inside) and equipment and the open gym.
Group ex!
Location is close to my residence
Lots of classes with variety! I’ve been a member for 33 years and have had age appropriate and body appropriate classes the whole time
The classes I take are led by wonderful instructors.
El Camino is readily available to us when the Northwest branch is temporarily closed. We live in Cupertino.
Good instructors
I like the trainers that work on the weight room floor with members
I like all the bootcamp classes and would like to see more of the same format used in Kim and in Andrea's classes offered early in the morning.
Variety and qualtity.
Mainly I like the people who attend and who work there.
Been very disappointed with the way the spinning classes are going. The previous instructors were very good but now it's just not inviting. I end up going less often to the Y, and will go to the Y near El Camino Hospital because they have an outdoor pool. Swimming will thus replace spinning on certain days. Will try their spinning instructors too.
Pilates, Body Pump, pool
Great management! I've been very unhappy at another Bay Area YMCA and El Camino is totally different. I feel welcomed and I am treated with respect all the time. No more yelling and verbal abuse. Thank you, El Camino for living up to the YMCA standards. You will be successful for years to come.
Programs are tailored to the needs by age, physical abilities, and medical needs.

Instructors are enthusiastic & are encouraging regardless of the level of the class participant . The skill level of the instructors is very high. The facilities are kept clean, neat & equipment is well organized. The area to socialize in could be imore welcoming.
