I love everything about the Y. I do admit that I am trying to get used to the Y being filled with people again. It is getting busier. However, I would like to ask if there could be more education around cell phone use on the floor and in the weight area. There seems to be a long wait for the machines because people are scrolling on their social media in between their sets. This past weekend I had to remind a young patron that we share the machines "gym etiquette" and we can work in between sets, as I had only one to do while he walked away. He was fine with complying.

It’s not the meat market of “for profit” institutions.
There is something for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. Their friendly, knowledgeable instructors make working out fun. Each adds their own personal touch to the workout so no 2 classes are the same. They even make it easier to try new things. The clean facilities and wide array of equipment give members plenty of options to pick from.
I love the variety of classes available every day of the week. All the different spaces for various physical activities make it an attractive place to stay fit. Plus, it is never super crowded.
They are nice on helping families get fitted.
Our family loves YMCA. It provides a great varieties of programs that all the family member can enjoy.
One quick suggestion is can we have mirrors also installed on the back of doors of the multipurpose room at El Camino YMCA. We have a lot of people interested in group fitness classes , however there are limit space to stand because the mirrors on the wall are separated by the doors, even though the room is actually big enough.
Either have mirrors installed on the back of doors or moving the classes to Studio B would be great. Especially like those cardio or dance group classes, most of people need to move and turn during the classes. Hope you can hear our feedback. Thanks!
It's clean. Up to date equipment.
