Friendly atmosphere and staff
There is a wide variety of "health centered things" to do at my YMCA to meet the needs of our citizen's which allow us to live a healty life and makes our community a better place......
I enjoy the evening classes that are offered by trained personal. There is always enough equipment ie, weights, mats etc. for all members in the class. The instructors always offer a modification style that suits anyones physical capabilities.
I would like to see fans installed in the TRX room. And for that room to have it's own thermostat. It has been really hot in the room on the days when it's been hot outside. It needs it's own zone thermostat. If so, maybe consider reinstalling the plexiglass and having a door. That way the A/C can be controlled for that room only. Not wasting energy as all the cooling would otherwise escape. FANS would help tremendously too. The floor fans that the instructors have to bring in each time, doesn't really do much to move the air around in the back of the room.
Everything good fitness/cardio equipment nice selection of youth activities and programs.

I love the Y. Not only for the opportunties to stay fit personally but for the freindships among members and the variety of services for all ages!
The wire is great engage with new people as you work out. I love that you take care of the kids at daycare and feed them too. It always puts a smile on my face when you see the kids playing at the playground.

I enjoy the water aerobic exercise classes
Everyone is very nice. The Y is kept very clean which is very important with all of the people that go there (germs).

Excellent facility with a staff that's outstanding. I find the exercise classes very helpful to me keeping fit; the instructors do an excellent job of motivating people in the class to work out while having fun and developing friendships with other people in the class.

Our family loves coming to the Y. There is something available for every member of our family in each of our individual stages of fitness. Everyone is always so friendly and encouraging. The place is always so clean.
Building is clean and well kept. Staff is friendly. Exercise equipment and pool are both great. Love that you guys have a sauna, steam room, and hot tub.
The Y staff is nice, friendly and helpful. The Y is also a very clean facility.
I go to the Y in the early morning and the regulars that workout at this time have become my friends and workout buddies.

Definitely the best YMCA in the area. I love that they request feedback and making changes and updates to keep the gym relevant. I love they have a 24/7 option!
Variety of weight machines.
This YMCA reminds me of the fitness centers my dad used to take me to as a kid (University Racquetball Club, Deer Lake) It's clean, the facilities are excellent, everyone from the staff to the members are extremely friendly and non-invasive. I always have a great experience.
I love the available hours, the cleanliness, the staff, and many of the members at this specific YMCA location. I always appreciate the welcoming attitude from staff members and their willingness to help whenever in need. I love the yoga classes in the morning on Wednesdays with Tom. I also appreciate the 24/7 gym access room and the equipment available in there. I have had to opportunity to speak with the CEO, Steve, a few times a this YMCA and I feel appreciated and valued as a member. Lindsey at the front desk is also the best and is an awesome resource at the YMCA. Most importantly, I believe the community engagement is fantastic at this YMCA location and I’m very glad to see how much work their staff is doing to stay connected and up-to-date with the community of Bay City.
Great instructors, my son did strength and conditioning with coach G, who was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and worked very well with the kids. Coach Jimmy for basketball is an exceptional coach, his knowledge of basketball and how to get through to the kids is amazing.
The facility is very clean and well kept. The weight room equipment is nice, even though there could be more additions added.
It is a great place to go and have fun. Tons of opportunities for all ages.
Staff is friendly and there are lots of things you can do for fitness.
I enjoy each day that I attend the DBAFY. The staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment is always clean and in working order. And I've had the great honor of meeting and making friends with so many nice people.
The weight equipment is excellent.
The sauna is excellent.
The 24 Hour fitness area is excellent.
TVs are nice.
Water filters on water fountains are a huge plus.
Love that you don't have to pay extra to enjoy pool and other classes. Very friendly people. Because it is Christian based it's good for children no swearing. Been going for 10years. Great for us seniors.
