My son is in grade 10 and has always been very engaged in extra curricular sports, which sometimes made it hard to stay engaged in math. His instructor Bill at Mathnasium immediately recognized that and took the time to connect with him through shared experiences, even referencing other successful athletes he’s supported. He tried several teaching styles and this one has really clicked.

Since then, my son’s confidence and his math mark have improved substantially, by almost 30 percent! This is a huge change from last year, when he struggled despite getting extra help at school during lunch hours. Now, every time he comes out of a Mathnasium session, he feels confident, positive, and actually enjoys learning math. As a parent, it’s amazing to see him so motivated and happy to attend.

Great experience with having Mathnasium of Brantford tutor my Grade 11 son in math.
His marks and confidence in math improved over the semester, and he enjoyed the consistency of the same person helping him whenever he needed some instruction.
His lessons were scheduled and delivered like they promised ( unlike an other tutoring service in town)

The confidence level kids get when they know the answer, because they had practiced it with a coach and learned ahead of what is being taught in school. Could be the greatest part of it all.
