Most of us will only move an elderly parent one time. There are so many things to think about and do and so much to consider you’ve never thought about. It’s a honor to have such a role but a big responsibility and “time suck” too. CarePatrol helps immensely. They’ve done all the legwork on the best places that fit the profile of what your parent needs, can afford, etc. They are reliable, punctual, answer every question, follow up, etc. I can’t say enough good things. Highly recommended.
Mr Hull was very helpful and provided 2 facilities for my Mother to review. Unfortunately for her the Acute Rehab facility chose a different one for her. She was unaware of this. At this point we are trying to get VA benefits. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs this kind of help.

CarePatrol stuck with me for well over a year making sure that I knew they were there if I needed them. I didn't want to admit that my wife of 54 years needed special care. Care that I wasn't able to handle for her. We ended up arguing. Several times daily and they would turn nasty on occasion. She didn't deserve harsh words I occasionally used to get her attention. We have never fought physically, only words. When these arguments got close to being physical, I turn to CarePatrol for help. They immediately turned to their resources and then arranged for me to be able to tour various locations that looked like they would be of great benefit to me and my wife. When I arrived at the facilities, a very attractive young lady from CarePatrol was there waiting for me. We finally settled on one location. When I arrived to bring additional items for my wife, I found her chatting with several others and smiling all the while. She still wants to be living with me, but I now know that she is safer where she is now living. It is tight, but after 54 years of her making sure I was happy, she deserves everything I can do for her. CarePatrol has made it possible for me to afford where she is now living. There was never any form of attempting me to choose a particular location.

Doyle was amazing! He called me right away, as soon as he was contacted by Mary Immaculate Hospital. He gave me affordable options in the area that I didn't know existed and I was able to get my mom into The Devonshire in less than a month, thanks to Doyle. He is very good at what he does - caring, compassionate, kind. I will tell everyone I know about Doyle and Care Patrol!
CarePatrol does the “homework” for you. They spend time in the different living option, they meet and know the management, they ask questions to help find the right fit for your loved one. This is my second time using CarePatrol for a parent. First time was my dad and it was a difficult placement because he was in the wrong setting that I had chosen a year earlier. He had specific needs due to his dementia and the setting I’d chosen myself did not meet his ever increasing needs. He became frustrated and combative and he was basically asked to leave. With CarePatrol’s help I was able to find a new memory setting that more than met his needs and kept him safe to the end of his life. Recently my mom decide at age 91 that she wanted to move from FL back to VA as soon as I could find her a new home. My biggest concern was how to get her to VA, I had 100% confidence that CarePatrol would help find her new home and they did in a week’s time. She loves her new home and is now close to family which is what was missing for her in FL. I would recommend CarePatrol to any one I know.
