I focus mainly on weight lifting and cardio but the friendly people are the best part of the Y. I have everything to exercise at home but choose the Y for social interaction and to be in the company of other people who enjoy fitness.
Inclusive. Great teachers. Great facilities. Would like to see even more classes offered. At one time we used to have 5K runs downtown and through the park. Would like to see those continue again. With picnics afterwards.

The quantity and quality of the people who run the programs.
I like the environment of the downtown Y, the only reason i am giving it a 9 is there has been a lot of maintenance issues that have taken a lot longer to fix

I like the times that are scheduled for water aerobics. Not too early in the morning for me. I do like the 12 to one schedule.
KidZone and the track are my usual go-tos. Block Room / Family Adventure center could use an update though.
I appreciate that the facility is well maintained, there is a variety of equipment and amenities available and the friendly, family atmosphere is great.
The variety of classes and programs plus an energetic and enthusiastic staff makes the YMCA one of my favorite places.
I like the gym downtown and also at Davis.
The hot tubs and warmer pools are great for arthritis and back aches and pains at Davis.
I haven't tried many programs, except jump and stretch with Carl a few years ago.
The strengthening pilates is a class I would like to go to soon.
I like the group fitness, particularly yoga and jump stretch. Staff are always helpful.
