Both my son and I have been getting our hair cut at Floyd's for a few years, now. I love the atmosphere and everyone has seemed nice. We usually have Staci cut my son's hair - she is really nice and does a great job.

My only issue so far has been this last time. Jay was cutting my son's hair and what seemed to be a friend of his kept coming up and distracting him/talking to him while he was cutting my son's hair. Eventually the friend sat in the chair next to Jay's area. It seemed unprofessional and the friend should have waited his turn like an adult. He also made comments about his girlfriend and how she apparently stole $17k from somewhere.

Jay did a pretty good job on the cut and seemed nice, but I don't understand why he couldn't tell the guy to wait.

I really enjoy Keith and the quality of work he does for hair. He listens and recommends and is passionate at what he does. On Thursday
I had a 5pm apt. While I was waiting for my appointment two employees were standing nearby talking and out front between clients ( front cashier and another lady hairstylist w glasses ) I guess one noticed me asking why I was there or who I was waiting for the cashier rep told the other it was for Keith . And the hair stylist me mentioned " God Keith is so slow ".
He may be slow to her standards if she thinks that you need to rush every client in and out but Keith is a Headliner if rather wait hours for the quality of Keith's work than quantity .. . Maybe the manager needs to explain that you need to take time with clients and not rush them out . I was kind appalled they they would say that around clients and talk behind another associates back .

My service was with Jonny. He listened and paid attention to my wanted outcome of my haircut. The vibes were right; very natural and genuine conversation. I usually cut my own hair bc I have an "undercut", but I messed up thinking i can cut my longer hair and he fixed it. I love it. I've had so many compliments given I am a manager at a retail store. It's my second time here and haven't been disappointed!! Highly recommend this edgy spot!! Side note as well, I have tattoos on my scalp with one being recent; very gentle. Will definitely be going back!

She takes her time with you and asks follow up questions during your cut to make sure she gets exactly what you want. She remembers your cut for future appointments and asks if there’s anything different that you want to change from last time. She’s warm and compassionate and the sole reason I continue to visit Floyd’s.
