I don't know much about metal. I have a friend who does. When I needed something specific for an art project he recommended you folks. Lately I needed a piece of metal for another non art project. I stopped by and the fellow at the front desk helped me chose a piece of aluminum from the bins out front. He cut a piece the size I needed and them I bought the metal. I have not completed the project yet but I have tested the sizing and it looks like it will work.
There is almost always the exact material in stock that I need for my projects. The odd time that it wasn't in stock, staff were able to suggest a suitable alternate product to use that was in stock, so there has never been any delay in getting my projects done.

Metal supermarkets changed the landscape of steel sales in Edmonton. Previously the companies I had to deal with were at best, difficult, unhelpful, and I always felt like they saw me as an annoyance because I wasn't ordering tens of thousands of dollars of steel.
