Central Y is not only a great athletic facility, but it helps those in need and offers an excellent way to make lifelong friends.
The staff is amazing. The girls at the front desk are so patient and friendly. Larry the coordinator has been very professional the whole way through. In addition, the one staff member that I would really like to give praise to is Larry Trombitis. I have actually built a great relationship with Larry T. Larry is a gem. He helped train my 13-year-old son (now 14), through the jump start program. Larry has demonstrated the core values of the YMCA. The words that exemplify those values can be found on a cross that hangs in the chapel. It states, "mind, body, and spirit". I have noticed that Larry really cares about the development of young minds and spirituality. If we had more people like Larry T. the world would be a better place. I also cannot leave out Pastor AJ, and Dante. Those guys are great too. Really all the staff members are great.
While, I’m certain there are plenty of gym options available to the public, you enroll at the “Y” for this type of community atmosphere. As a family business owner, I have been able to make connections and network with like minded members. This is why I continue my support.

Variety of programs and classes. Which there were more to choose from for adults. Would love to see clearer instructions or details about some activities like pickleball (when, who, is equipment provided or not), youth activities (LEGO club).

Tons of great equipment, a great staff, very clean and plenty of sanitizing stations.
Those that work for the Y and helpful, and most pleasant. The facility is clean, and supplies are well stocked.

They are great! The staff is so helpful. The Y is like a family environment. I would 100% recommend the Y. It helps me physically, mentally. and spiritually. . I am proud to be a Y member.

there are enough programs for everyone plus the fact that appears nice and quiet less of a crowd you can get on any of the machines without waiting and also in the cardio room it seems less busy

The emphasis on serving the inner city youth with daily activities whether after school or summer is the Hallmark of Y mission and outreach.
Keep up the good work allowing for maximum opportunities for those in the community who are underserved.

I love the programs and activities for the children. I introduced my daughter who’s now a member a little over a year ago! The convenience, safety, attitude of staff, rates, scheduling, are all GREAT!
