Mathnasium in Beltsville is absolutely wonderful. Mrs Karen has completely turned around my daughters confidence with the subject of math. Prior to the program my daughter didn't like math at all, now she is soring and math is on her favorite subject list now. This is my grand-daughter's third year with Mathnesium in Beltsville and we can see a huge difference in her academia, personality and her love to want to learn. The staff are very personable and are readily to show attention. I love most that we receive the monthly progress report to know exactly where she is and what she needs to work on.

The owner, Ms. Karen, is amazing at making every child feel welcome and safe. She understands that children need to feel like they belong in order to learn to the best of their potential. However, not all the staff understand that learning happens within relationships. Sometimes the other staff may not greet the children or ask them how they're doing (and like genuinely wanting to know how they are doing would be icing on the cake). Despite that, I really enjoy the check-in calls from the owner. Again, she seems very invested in the overall well-being of the children. We really hope her sentiments catch on across all of the staff.

I am very pleased with the progress my grand-daughter has made since she has been with Mathnasium in Beltsville. She is really thriving. I am also elated that she enjoys being there and takes pride in learning.

I'm so happy I found Mathnasium. The fact that my daughter looks forward to her lessons is testimony enough. Before Mathnasium, any type of math practice involved yelling, threats and tears. I don't know what kind of magic they're working but my daughter's confidence, willingness to even do math and ability to accurately compute has noticeably increased. Ms. Karen and her crew are all amazing and I highly recommend!

I never thought it was possible, but my son actually enjoys math now, and never complains about going to mathnasium. In fact he looks forward to it. The calm atmosphere allows him to focus. He used to get really frustrated and shut down over math homework. Now he is sailing through it.
