My daughter enjoyed everything about camo. All the counselors were so friendly and just great with the kids. We have had a wonderful experience!
I love that there was always a variety of options at any given time, allowing my child go choose which activity to participate in rather than forcing. Also, the swim lesson add-on during the camp day was wonderful and allowed for not having to coordinate around other evening commitments.
Lots of turn over but I understand the Y is weeding out employees that serve the program and children no good and are bringing in high quality and loving employees.
My 6 year old went to the YMCA this summer and seriously had the time of his life. I loved seeing him after camp everyday, he was messy, sweaty and exhausted from how much fun he had every day. The kids seemed to stay active everyday and that is so great in this day and age when everything is electronic. I loved that they could utilize the pool and the indoor facility when weather was bad. Kona Ice on Wednesdays was awesome. And last but not least and was probably the best thing to receive as a parent was ALL THE PICTURES!!! I love seeing my sweet boy having so much fun! thank you YMCA for making Averys summer a blast!
The swimming program was great. My son improved his swimming skill a lot just by playing in the swimming pool every day. And he also got a lot of support and encoragement by the teachers there. Thanks a lot!

The YMCA Day Camp is always a great wya for my child to develop relationships and be active during the summer and throughout the year. Counselors are always attentive to ensuring that he is taken care of and experiencing activities that are beneficial.

Here is what I love about YMCA of Greater Indianapolis Day Camps, I know my children will always be cares for in a safe and fun environment. They always come home telling us stories about their friends and their activities. Thank you for being steady and consistent source of safe and fun childcare where my kiddos have grown up for the past 6 years. We love the Y.

My kids loved all the games and crafts. The counselors were awesome and took the time to get to know my kiddos. The staff was always super friendly and you could tell really loved the kids and the program.

The program is well organized. The safety features are a plus. My attendees loves Roche Camp. The staff is friendly an follows procedures. They always ask for my ID which I appreciate. Knowing my child is safe, happy and outdoors exploring, learning and making new friends makes my day! Great job Y Team!
Good amount of time outside. Lots of varied activity and enrichment opportunities. Especially love being able to add on swim lessons that occur during camp.
I love how the campers are involved with different activities to do. My campers loves how they get to go on field trips sometimes instead of always being at the camp site. I like how I am able to check on my campers throughout the day to see how they are doing.
My kiddo comes home excited to tell me about the fun activities that she has been part of. She has made some good friends and has had fun every single day since she started.
The hours of camp are very convenient. They do a lot to keep the kids busy and having fun. The councilors are all really great and o a good job with the kids.

Child friendly, multiple activities, & good hours
My kid just had a lot of fun and that’s what matters! He’s 6 so getting information about his activities is darn near impossible but he was always excited to go to camp and was always in a wonderful mood when he got picked up! Staff we also super nice.
