I love the YMCA for the weights and cardio room. It is clean and nice and organized and they orovide daycare in mornings and evenings which works well wirh my schedule.

Good classes
Such a variety. Easy to get involved. Easy going atmosphere, even in the weight room. Feel very comfortable.
What's not to like? Variety, knowledgeable instructors, supportive classmates. Front desk helps when online schedule snafus are encountered. Carl designed and installed the floor mats at the entrance to the exercise rooms - no-trip/no-slip mats. Fans and A/C keep temperatures conducive to continue exertion. The rooms and building are constantly monitored as to debris, dust, and water bottles left behind. The wellness center has one of almost any exercise machine; dozens of hand weights and bar bells, wall mounted TV screens & background radio station tunes. There is always a Y staff member assigned to the wellness center for advice & encouragement.

Kids sports and daycare while working out is important. I like the social responsibility aspect and the signs on the bathroom doors :)

I enjoy the programs designed for different age groups. I retired last year and moved to Fort Myers. I visited the YMCA in Fort Myers and loved the dynamic and skilled teams and trainers that care for us, older active adults and make us feel energized, positive and youthful. Thank you!

Wonderful professional leaders of adult classes
After spinal surgery, shoulder replacement, and knee replacement I was very much in need something to do after physical therapy expired. I started with Anya’s easy yoga class. Then I picked up Susan‘s Pilates class. Then it was Kirsten‘s ballet and yoga on Wednesdays. Now I go Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Lacey’s, upper body, lower body and total burn workouts. I find that all the instructors are terrific, and the Y’s programs have resulted in much improved physical well-being. Each instructor (Ciera, Larissa, Jacqueline) brings unique excerises. I appreciate them all! Thanks.
I love the classes and instructors. They always offer modifications for skill level of the participants and for your mindset. I always leave feeling better and super glad I made the effort to attend. The lovely people who sit at the front desk are always super welcoming. The only thing I wish would improve a bit, is the need to register day before, for every single class. I wish that could be expanded to AT LEAST weekly. That would be helpful. Great job all around! Thank you for all you do!

I attend the gentle yoga classes on Tuesday and Thursdays, they are a lot of fun, I have met some very nice people at the Y. And it has been a very fun experience, I feel great after I have attended a class.
Great programs but we need more night group classes.
I like the classes that I have tried, I wish there were more at a later time. I especially like how clean the facility is and how the weights are returned to where they should be, if not by the members, I’ve seen the staff do it. I like the vibe, friendly employees and members. I like that the equipment is kept in good condition, with repairs made promptly.

I like the total body workout on Monday and Wednesday followed by Tuesday /Thursday gentle flow yoga!! Brings a good healthy balance of upper and lower body fitness!
