Classes are great!! Machines good. Would like a class down stairs for weights, etc.
Lots of variety. The personnel are super friendly!
Qualified and great instructors!
But need more 6 am classes and evening classes for working people!!
No issues
The classes are great !
Better pickleball nets. The 1 new one works pretty well.
I'm not sure that we really need wheels on them. 1 or 2 people usually end up carrying them (not wheeling them) any way.
The broken ice machine is a big problem, especially in the Summer.
Bariety
I love the classes. Rebecca is awesome ( pump Class). The front desk people, Lee and Carin, are very helpful and friendly.
I like & attend the exercise classes for active older adults.
Great instructors and good machines.
Zumba classes!!!! Any other dance classes!! Teachers are upbeat welcoming and kind nd!!
Just started going, like it so far, but I have not done enough to make further comments.
Friendly
The staff is welcoming!
I like the brightly lit facility.
I love that it is not an intimidating place for beginners and those of us that are less than perfectly fit. Trainers are wonderful!
While I realize this particular facility is geared toward the retired population, I would love to see more HITT classes offered in late afternoon for those of us who work. I’m a teacher and have to be at work from 7:00-3:30 so I rarely get to take classes.
Classes
Clean facilities. Helpful friendly staff
Available of resources. Constant help with fitness questions. Clean facilities.
Michele McDougall and Christine O’Hara are fantastic coaches. Their classes are so effective and their personalities are so positive that you want to push yourself!
Nice variety to include all ages.
Good trainers. Challenging workouts, variety, and sufficient equipment. I would like more choce of workout class times.
Everyone from front desk to the players and stuff their all so nice!😊
Great classes and instructors!!
I would like to see a couple core class added but not so early in the morning.
Friendly , helpful staff. Good equipment. Lots of classes.
The Punta Gorda Y is too crowded. It is very difficult to get into popular classes. The app just plain sucks. If I choose PG and do not want to have to reselect it over and over to add a class.
Charles Reynolds classes (dance and Active Adults) are fabulous. I want Dynamic Dance more than once a week; I want Active Adults by Charles 3 times a week.
I am hoping you have found a bigger facility and you will move some classes to wherever it is in Punta Gorda.
Your gyms are neat clean and well organized excellent equipment and all of your programs just about cover anything you could want to do at a gym what more can you ask
Your programs are great, but you need more space. It's difficult to get into the classes I want during "season". I love Cindy's classes on Tuesday and Friday, but during season I can't always get in. It would also be nice if she had more than 2 classes a week.
Love the staff, classes, and facilities
They are all great and are congruent with the needs of the times (eg. Rock Steady boxing and Enhanced Fitness). Instructors are excellent! Facility is cleaner than most.
At the punta gorda Y, you have eliminate any news programs on the tv's. As the Y is also an educational organization presumably interested in keeping our citizenry aware and involved in our communities and country, you should reinstate at least one news channel on your tv's.

i only use the gym, but it is a nice facility, gteat staff, clean facilty, up beat music, very nice place
