Clean facilities

Good range of equipment and activities for all ages and levels of fitness

The biggest reason the Venice YMCA is appealing is the Olympic size pool. Kudos to the Kathryn for refusing to let 'Perfect to get in the way of good' and allowing PJ to perform the maintenance he has wanted to begin since his 1st day as a lifeguard & that has been needed for decades.

Also, I would be remiss if I did not congratulate the staff for their hard work getting the facility open quickly after the hurricane.

One safety concern: I arrive most days before sunrise & noticed that not all the carts driven by the Sky Academy staff and/or maintenance personnel have headlights. I have seen members driving as fast as 20mph in the parking lot & making turns quicker than they should. This situation is an accident waiting to happen.

The yoga classes are the main reason that I joined.

Great facilities. Love the outdoor pool and the body pump classes. Leslie is great. So many opportunities to get and stay in shape here.

Water aerobics

There’s programs for all ages!

The Venice YMCA is a wonderful welcoming place to be. I love water aerobics with Bonnie. I have enjoyed yoga with Michelle. I am hoping that line dancing is coming back.. that is a great workout and so much fun. Every activity I have participated in I have been very pleased.

I like the variety of classes offered. There are several classes I can attend each day. There is plenty of equipment too. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the gym and locker rooms. I get a good feeling when I come to the gym because it is a place that helps people of all ages and abilities do something positive to improve their health.
