The Venice YMCA has cutting edge group fitness classes as well as the best Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Trainers. There are lots of resistance machines and free weights. And the cardio studios have all the latest equipment that is kept in good working condition.
The programs and activities are awesome. Honestly, I can’t think of anything to say negatively about them - only positive.
I think what makes everything work well at the YMCA specifically the Venice branch because that’s where I Frequent is the people - you hire great people !
Your employees genuinely care for others are friendly and easy to get along with. It’s the favorite part of my day, almost every day!
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care - about them !

What I don't like is the cell phone usage during a work out. People tend to use the machines as a phone both, instead of using it for excercise. It's fine if they want to listen to music but to sit around texting, tying up a machine that's not good. I've spoken to a few of your instructors and they feel the same. Other than that, its a great gym.

There are many to choose from
The staff is very friendly. We’re members because of the afternoon Rock Steady Boxing class. The instructors are excellent. This class is very important to my husband’s health.
Valerie Parkinson’s class is outstanding.
I JUST USE THE SAUNA
Classes and instructors are very good. It's nice that you offer several different types of yoga. Zumba is a lot of fun. It's great that you also provide instructors for Wellen Park classes.
I like the huge selection of exercise equipment and that it is well maintained.
Great facility, would have liked better lighting in the gymnasium where older pickleball adults play....

Senior fitness classes. At the Forever Fit level of intensity. 3 days a week.
I love the Pilates class on Monday Wednesday and Friday at 4 with Jamisue. She is a caring happy person and a great Pilates instructor! The time is also perfect for me as I come right from work! Thank you for offering this class!
Lots of classes.
I enjoy the swimmers pool, mainly. The life guard staff are very professional and helpful, as are all staff throughout the Y.

I love the water aerobics and aqua Zumba.
My husband enjoys the group exercise classes.
I wish you could have chair yoga around 10 sometimes. I would greatly appreciate it.
