Facility is very clean. Equipment (I use) is in good working order. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Enjoy your pool immensely. However, do see that it needs a good cleaning. Are the filters working? Is the pool being cleaned regularly ? Appears the pool paint is flaking off too in various parts.

Can you install a bathing suit spin dryer in the locker rooms?

I haven't been there long enough to enjoy any of the programs or activities. But I love your gym! State of the art and nice and clean. Staff is wonderful.

I appreciate the reformer pilates classes, My Zone, and TRX

I enjoy every class I have been to (especially Body Pump, Zumba, Zumba toning, Cardio Drumming, Body Shred, and Barre). The instructors are top notch. The equipment is good and the workout rooms are clean. The (audio/speaker) sound in the workout rooms is very good and it is always a comfortable temperature for woking out. There is a wide variety of equipment to use on both floors. The locker room is always spotless; kudos to the cleaning staff. I REALLY appreciated getting a 3 day free pass for my daughter and her husband when they were here recently. They said it was nice to work out while on vacation. I also appreciate the flexibility of seasonal hold on my membership when I travel north for the summer. Overall, I would give the Venice YMCA an A+. I cannot see any room for improvement.

Friendly community oriented

I joined to use YMCA's beautiful indoor racquetball courts as a way to get my 70-year-old body into a more limber and ache-free condition. My brother-in-law and I play two 1-hour sessions a week. It has improved overall flexibility and cardiovascular health (I no longer get winded). It has really improved the lingering pain and stiffness in the hip that I had totally replaced 2 years ago.

All I do is swim

Great variety of classes & excellent teachers-wish signups were earlier than 10pm & could signup for a week of classes-not every day-need to set my alarm every night since I go almost every day.

I love the bodypump and bodyworks classes. And I like that you offer some of them early in the morning so that the people that work can get a workout in before they go to work. Instructors are great!!

The swimming pool is clean and often has a lane available. The fitness machines are a good variety. The people are friendly.

I really like having a personal trainer and the variety of equipment and classes is outstanding. The Y is a great value!

The wide range of classes and timing, as well as the option of using the virtual room for Les Mills workouts. I enjoy MyZone, TRX, Body Shred, yoga (flow and yin) and occasionally join Zumba when I feel like dancing. The instructors are, for the most part, enthusiastic and personable.
