The Y offers many group fitness classes for every age level
So many things to do
Good morning 🙏
Love the machine but mostly the classes offered
The size of the Venice Y makes it possible to find open machines.
I love Jan’s classes but almost impossible to register as they fill up with 30 SECONDS
There are so many to choose from on all level, availability of equipment.
Weight machines
Good for all ages and abilities
The Venice YMCA offers so many diverse classes. I LOVE the Les Mills classes the most. Always changing in their choreography and excellent instruction of safety of moves as well. Once their studios are repaired ( from hurricane IAN ) and brought back into the schedule, life will be great again.
I have always joined facilities that offer classes. That is my true love of a facility!
We use the machines. We like the other members and the staff. Do you want to know what we don’t like?
I like the variety and quality of the exercise equipment and the ample room around the equipment. To move about freely. I don’t like how no two spin bikes are available for side by side use. I like the pool but it could use better cleaning. The hours could be improved on Sundays. Closing at two in the afternoon is too early
My daughter did gymnastics and my sons worked out at the y as teens. The y was a big part in my children’s lives and mine. It help me to strength train and heal my fibromyalgia. As soon as I moved back to town the y was one of the first places I went!
I appreciate the daily exercise classes offered and the variety available.
Very nice gym and staff

The teachers are great and the virtual Les Mills programs add convenience. The Y has really helped me "up" my fitness.
I love the classes I take and the schedule
My wife and I have been members since 2012. We use gym facilities 3 times a week as well as the pool. Great excercise in pleasant environment.
Fit my needs
Community spirt & support. Welcoming staff. Access to a variety of teachers and classes
I love that there are so many classes available. I am unhappy that after 19 years at the Y, I now have to pay a monthly fee as you do not accept Silver Sneekers.

The pool. You have other good activities, but those activities are not up my alley. I use the pool almost every day. Ian has held me back for a while
Everyone (staff and members) is friendly and I enjoy the spin class, I go to Valerie’s, although I like the others also. The pool is also great and weight room. Hope to check out other classes. Thank you for the showers and cellphone charging after hurricane. So grateful. Blessings Name removed
A lot of Senior classes.
I would suggest you add two more senior classes to make it even better.
-Tai-chi
- Beginner / basic line dancing. The current line dancing class is too advanced for me.
Also maybe improve the water aerobics classes by using the ryhtm of the music to establish the cadence of the movement in the water. Currently the music becomes just background music and the water steps are on their on and not synced. Frustrating.
I'm most appreciative of the variety of classes.
The classes. Especially Forever Fit and the strength class taught by Kathy. I just wish there were a couple more of these 2 classes or same class at another time as sometimes very crowded.
I love the free classes!
I like the group classes geared to older members. There are several classes that are almost always filled even now off season. Jan B is the absolute best!,,,,,
