I appreciate the breadth of classes available and the quality and enthusiasm of instruction. I like the availability of individual exercise equipment and virtual classes as an alternative to group exercise classes that are so popular that they require advance registration exactly 36 hours prior, which I am personally loathe to do. My husband and I have especially enjoyed the MyZone and TRX functional fitness classes that use a smaller group format and are a fraction of the price charged for similar classes at other gyms.

Great YMCA. I've been to Y's around the world, including Australia, China, India, England, Israel, New Zealand, Canada, and around the United States. The Venice Y is terrific.
As an “Active Senior”, I appreciate the many activities available to me. My favorite is the water aerobics class, which I enjoy participating in four mornings a week (weather permitting). Instructors and staff are top notch!

The weight training machines. Once did Yoga there and a couple of times massage. Mainly, we just use the gym.
I like the racquetball court, basketball, pool table, ping-pong, the whole facility. Great staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend joining! Thank you, Venice YMCA!
We like the chair yoga classes and attend them at least twice a week. We have also participated in some silver sneaker classes in the past.

Variety
Our instructors are very knowledgeable in many therapeutic approaches to address Parkinson’s issues. The facilities are clean and updated with equipment that meets the needs of all participants.
