The recent experience I have had was Soccer Wolverines. The coach was very thoughtful and definitely cared about the Players. You could tell he was very compassionate about the players and being fair to all, good players and not so good players. I am a Great Grandmother to one of the players. We are very thankful for the experience that our kids have had with the YMCA soccer program. The coaches have been stellar and the experience of only practicing one day a week with games on Saturday mornings has been just the right fit for our family.

Variety and ease of access
YMCA sports has always been our favorite activity to participate in. The children learn sportsmanship and team work along side wonderful volunteer parents who strive to teach and have fun with our kiddos. I will always choose the YMCA sports activities for my children who has consistently, every season, grown in confidence on the field.

I really appreciate the variety of programs and activities the YMCA offers. There’s something for every age and interest, whether it’s fitness classes, youth sports, or community events. The supportive and inclusive environment makes it easy to stay active and connected. Gym
My daughter is on the POW soccer team coached by Coach Tad. It is her first time trying soccer and Coach Tad has made it a great learning experience for her. He makes sure all the kids on the team are supported and is a great model for what a good coach should be. We would definitely sign up again if we thought Coach Tad would be her coach.
