I really love my instructors. They are patient, explain and demonstrate what they are asking you todo. It's hard to trust someone in water when you have always been afraid but they are reassuring you in a calm way to keep you focused while learning. They cater to everyone individual needs and I love that the most!

My son has ADHD and sensory issues. The staff at the Northside YMCA has been so patient with him as he explores the world of swimming. He was very nervous at first but now loves participating in the lessons.

the instructors are very nice

My son loves his weekly lessons. He would swimming everyday if he could.

But what really brought us back is an incident from last Summer when son jumped in the deep end of the pool while playing with some friends he meet on vacation. He was able to keep himself afloat until my husband could get to him. Needless to say, he will in swim classes until the end of the Summer.
