We love the YMCA in Okmulgee and are so appreciative of the work that they do and offering good things to the kids in this community.
Hopefully next basketball season we will actually have enough kids to have the set age groups that we actually sign up and pay money for rather than the extended combined age groups. Basketball this season was sad for those trying to learn the foundations when there were way bigger and older kids playing against them. I am for healthy competition but there were some extreme cases and in some instances unnecessary injury which is also a liability to the YMCA. I wish that there was also a little more regulation or possibly training for referees to know the rules of the game and specific age group so that they can better perform their role. I also hope that the Go Club can be expanded to Okmulgee County schools and wider age ranges although I know grant funding plays a lot into that.

I love the locker room with the private showers. I miss the sauna very much!

The renovations completed at the Okmulgee Y have indeed enhanced the exercise experience, good job.
They are scheduled at times that are convenient for me. They have great instructors.

the staff is friendly and the facility is always clean, despite being under construction. it would be nice to have separate locker rooms but i understand the location is smaller.

A variety of classes is offered. Fitness instructors do a great job and everyone is so encouraging. Katie does an amazing job too!
There seems to be many to chose from
Our renovation projects are almost complete! The staff has done an amazing job working through the mess and noise in order for the members to have access to everything. It will be wonderful when completed very soon. I appreciate all the extra work this has created and how the staff have stepped up and really pitched in to make things as easy as possible for the members.
Our upstairs weight room is great! I spend a lot of time there and have never had a problem getting on a machine or with a poor attitude from anyone. The atmosphere is very pleasant with a strong sense of camaraderie.
Katie does a fantastic job! I can’t imagine our Y without her leadership.

The instructors are very friendly and helpful. The people in the class are so nice and not judgmental. I am getting back into fitness, and I am comfortable working at my own pace.

Silver Sneakers is perfect for me as an 84 1/2 yr old female. Fun and good exercise for me.
I like the early morning classes I can attend before going to work. I like the new equipment and the remodeling. I like the friendliness of the receptionist and the morning coffee that is made available to us.
