My son has never been a fan of math, but he truly enjoys his time at Mathnasium. The teachers are knowledgeable and personable, treating him as though he's truly part of the community, or family, and ensuring he's always comfortable while he is there. He loves talking to them, the jokes and conversation that us made, and he's never felt like he can't do something while there, and that spills over into the classroom now.

His math skills have improved significantly and he always praises and credits his "math tutors" for contributing to his success. I would suggest anyone use this program, and this location specifically, to help your child with their math confidence and skill!

Would love it if there was a 7-8pm option, or an opportunity to book 5:30-630 or 630-730 as well but aside from that we have had a great experience

We were told by my son's math teacher that he could use some help over the summer to help him be properly prepped for grade 9 math this year. On a whim I emailed Somerset Mathnasium and Amisha is amazing at accommodating us and ensuring that we understand everything that is involved with signing up. I have to say that my son LOVE'S attending his sessions, he doesn't gripe about it and actually looks forward to it. He's even told me that he's surprised how quickly the hour goes by and he's super comfortable there with all the other individuals seeking help.

Mathnasium Somerset really cares about their students. I’m very grateful that they’re familiar with Alberta curriculum and know how to help with gaps that may be there from previous years, but also keep up with our child’s current high school workload. it has been a much better fit than traditional tutoring for our situation. Would highly recommend to anyone who is struggling and needs tutoring, or wants to keep their child challenged.

We like the one on one instruction and the rewards program. The kids like it too!
My only suggestion would be to have to open 7 days a week, more flexibility for families whose kids are in activities.

My son works independently with his school homework’s since joining Mathnasium last month. Confidence is up. I will give further review after 3-4 months.

Mathnasium has been an absolutely fantastic experience for us. Within weeks we saw a huge boost in confidence and started to see results almost immediately in school. Amisha and her team do an amazing job of engaging and incentivizing it for the kids to the point that our child even looks forward to going, we haven't had one struggle in getting them to their class (WOW)!
