I do wish the hours were better so we didn’t have to rush to make it there before close. Especially with the new summer hours. Closing at 7 can be a challenge if parents don’t get home from work until 5:30/6:00.
Our granddaughter had math problems in school. After an assessment by Mathnasium it was discovered her knowledge in math was several levels below her grade level. From the time of enrolment she enjoyed the one to one tutoring, never wanting to miss a session and began to understand the concepts given to her. Her initial improvements were minimal till we requested Mathnasium communicate with the school to insure the curriculum was followed. Since that time her marks have steadily increased. She brings concepts she has problems with at school to the sessions to review with the Mathnasium staff. Her school grades in math have come from a failing grade to near honour roll status.

The staff and management are absolutely amazing they went out of their way to accommodate my daughter schedule and extremely knowledgeable
I don't love the booking system. It would be nice if there were additinal hours in June. Between the school year ending in June and exam schedules, it is hard to take advantage of the full 10 sessions. Further, this is when extra sessions may be needed. For June, it may be nice to be open on Sundays and possibly Friday afternoon/ early evenings (once classes are done for high school students, a Friday afternoon session may work). My son was really skepical at the start, but sees the value of the sessions. He will be attending again next year!

Thanks to Mathnasium, my son achieved a 100% score on his final math exam! The course has been extremely helpful in building his confidence, strengthening his understanding, and improving his performance. We are very happy with the results and grateful for the support and dedication of the instructors.

I highly recommend Mathnasium of SW Calgary. Michael, Cathy, and Paige consistently go above and beyond to support and encourage our daughter. They meet each child at their current math level and create a plan to build their confidence and success in learning math. My daughter always leaves her tutoring sessions feeling happy and positive.

Building confidence in math skills
I have been so impressed with how quickly my daughter has settled into Mathnasium. She struggles with anxiety and Math is a very stressful subject for her, but she has not complained once about going - she actually really enjoys it, and has been surprised at how quickly the hour has passed!
My child's math concept clarity has improved and she loves the fun way of learning maths. She can take a break and play a game with her friends, then continue with the class which I think is great idea to encourage children and not getting bored.
