Improvement Opportunity:
Once every 3-4 months like to see simple email sharing kids progress and maybe even a quick call.
Never sure how many points are getting collected and how they get tracked, my daughter has been trying to collect points for long time hoping one day she will be able to buy herself Nintendo, she has gotten a few small items in between, I am not how to tell her if she is 50% away from her target or 80%. Not a big deal really, I just feel recently she lost hope and I don't know how to help her with that.
Mathnasium in Summerlin is the best! This was our 4th attempt of trying something new for math tutoring and it has been such a success. Kids absolutely love it and most important, math grades have improved. All of the instructors and Summerlin Manager, Andrew, are AWESOME! So happy we found Mathnasium.
My teen thrives at Mathnasium of Hayward. The program director(s) are attentive and easy to communicate with and we are enjoying the supplemental curriculum here. It’s a safe space for kids with proper supervision.
My daughter is on 8th grade, she feels comfortable with the tutors, and she feels her math skills have improved since going there.
My daughter is excited to go to math tutoring. They make it very fun and she enjoys spending time there, which makes me so happy. And she’s learning!

Michael is supportive of my son’s goals. He is encouraging and creates the best learning environment for my son. This is an underrated skill! My son would not have the same kind of success in a different learning environment. My son’s success is equivalent to Michael’s success. He is why my son continues to grow at mathnasium.

My daughter has benefited greatly from Mathnasium. She’s move confident, loves to go to her lessons, and is always smiling after attending. She’s had a huge turnaround in her understanding of math concepts and is doing better in her state testing as well as her school math class. Ram is wonderful to work with and truly cares about the kids and their progress. I highly recommend for kids who are struggling in math-the earlier the better so they understand their core math skills.
Love the flexibility, and ease of booking. And, my kid actually likes going! The reward system is very motivating for her, she likes the teachers and has seen a noticeable improvement in both skill and confidence within a few weeks of starting.

Starting with the Branch Manager James Tong wonderful, wonderful man!! He is so kind, very understanding, and very accommodating. My children are there because of Jason (MGR) & previous Jason (MGR). They make me feel so at ease to communicate with any issues. My two children look forward to his classes. Ever since my children attended this branch under James watch, their grades had spiked to A grades. So with much appreciations to James Tong & his crew. “We Love it there, the best!!”

The Mathnasium Center in Redwood City is absolutely amazing. From the kind owner at its helm, to the highly proficient management team, and the very efficient tutors, we could not be more happy with the level care and accommodation that is given to each student and family. My daughter’s confidence in math, and in her own learning abilities, has grown in leaps and bounds after just a few short months here. I’ve also been so grateful for how well our family has been accommodated - from a scheduling perspective - following a unique family circumstance. It’s clear that this business is driven by a motivation to genuinely enrich childhood education, rather than purely generating profit, which is so refreshing to see.
My child gets so much positive support and they are so easy to work with regarding scheduling.

Mathnasium of San Ramon is a great place for my daughter to learn math and improve her math skills. The center is full of professional tutors and kids won't feel lonely at all. my daughter enjoys math more than before after she attends the learning center. Highly recommended.

Angie and Avante at the Menlo Park- Palo Alto center have been incredibly helpful and patient with all of my questions. I really appreciate the time they take to explain the approach and keep us informed about our daughter’s progress.
Most importantly, our daughter genuinely seems to enjoy the environment and the tutors. She feels comfortable there, which makes a big difference. In just the three weeks she’s been attending, I can already see her confidence growing.
We feel optimistic that by the end of the year she will be at par with where she needs to be for her grade level in math skills. Thank you for creating such a supportive and encouraging learning space.
My daughter who generally doesn’t like math does look forward to going to Mathnasium classes. Yet to see improvements in her test results in school. Giving it a month or two but so far so good.
We have seen Tatym demonstrate thorough understanding of math since she started with mathnasium and she has been doing very well in school. We also appreciate the flexibility of integrating some of her school's curriculum at mathnasium to help prepare for her upcoming placement test (thanks Ezekiel!). Tatym also enjoys working with her tutor Mariia whenever she gets assigned to her and feel that they have a very good rapport. Thanks for your support mathnasium!
I enrolled my son in August 2025 to build a stronger foundation for Math. One of the strengths of our local Mathnaseium center is their flexibility with customized curriculum building. Conferences can be set up for parents to check in on progress and discuss any concerns. I like that there are incentives (prizes) for the student to do “x” amount of pages of math per session. My son has built a good relationship with the the personnel at the learning center.
Opportunities for the center would be more careful examination of the final answers. I have found some discrepancies in my sons’ answers to some problems where he said his instructor said they were correct, but they were not. I do personally believe in mastering a concept vs number of pages completed (ie quality over quantity).
Overall, Mathnaseium provides a positive environment for learning under friendly staff. There also has been objective improvement in my son’s math scores which indicates the two - 60 minute sessions per week is effective. For parents who struggle to sit down with their child(ren) to do math, I do recommend Mathnaseium as an alternative.
