We've had an excellent experience with Albany Mathnasium! The staff are smart, helpful, and excellent communicators. My son's math skills, as well as his understanding of math concepts, have greatly improved in the years he's been attending this learning center. The incentive system to motivate the kids is really great too. My son always leaves the center excited to try for more achievements and prizes. Highly recommend!
My granddaughter was behind in her grade level math.. She disliked math and was very frustrated with math. Mathnasium started her right where she needed to be, right beyond what she already understood. She likes going to her Mathnasium class. She is not frustrated with what she is doing during her class time. She is progressing. She is attentive. She likes to go there. The environment is calm. The teachers are caring and encouraging.

Pratima is especially amazing. She is flexible, understanding, and so easy to talk to whenever we’ve needed to make schedule adjustments. That level of care and communication makes a huge difference for busy families.
Most importantly, they’ve created a comfortable and encouraging learning environment for our daughter. When she first started, she was really struggling with math after returning to school following the COVID shutdowns. Within a year, she went from an F to an A and she has maintained that success ever since.

I love this studio because it makes it very personal and fitted to your schedule and your family needs and your child needs. Never had any issue changing the classes moving different times works for all of our needs so I feel they are truly wanting to share the knowledge and give kids confidence in math and it’s not just any other regular tutoring class highly recommend it

My daughter loves going to mathnasium because they make it fun. Her math skills have greatly improved. James is an amazing director and we enjoy how easy going he is with scheduling.

Our daughter is actually excited to go every week. The learning environment is fun and engaging, and Lucy is an absolutely amazing site director. The proof is in the data- in 3 weeks, we saw consistent top marks on class quizes and test scores. In 6 weeks, we noticed comments at her public school that our daughter had a natural inclination toward math. Nonsense. The issue was that she went a whole year at an OUSD school without being seen. Some thoughtful structure and support with Mathnasium are helping to blow past low expectations. Our how is to use them to move past the curriculum and keep moving forward.

Mathnasium Fremont has been a wonderful experience for our daughter. She really enjoys all of the tutors that she works with and Eric is really responsive with any requests or last minute changes that need to happen. We are new to Mathnasium Fremont and we'll be continuing our daughters supplemental education here!

My daughter has been going to Mathnasium since the middle of 5th grade. She is now at the end of 7th grade. I love that they have a very small ratio of tutors to students and that they are flexible--meeting the student where they are and with what they need to accomplish. There are times my daughter needs no support with her homework or help studying for an exam, so she does the Mathnasium curriculum. There are other times she needs a little more practice on what she is doing at school and they are more than willing to support her in that. I have recommended Mathnasium every chance I have had.

Mathnasium - Sunset District (Judah St.) - has been doing an amazing job with our son. He loves going to his sessions. Jessica and her team have made it a place we feel that our son feels welcomed and open to explore math in creative ways. We were concerned about learning loss during the pandemic, our son’s assessment at Mathnasium validated what we saw at home. Over the past couple of years we have seen significant improvement in his confidence and performance in high school math classes. We receive regular reports on what topics are being covered and his progress. Alternately, when he needs extra help at school, he will bring his class test study guides with him to Mathnasium. His math grades have significantly improved, and he enjoys going to Mathnasium. Win-win!
