We have been with Mathnasium of Torrance for over a month now. My daughter Abigail really enjoys coming here to learn and to get help with homework. All the teachers have been so patient and helpful, she scored A for her first math test at school! She was so happy and so were we the parents. Howard, the manager, is very easy to work with. He's so flexible and has been accommodating to our schedules. We're truly happy and feel so blessed to find this center to get help on math.

Mathnasium has truly been a game-changer for my daughter! Their personalized 1-on-1 approach, combined with their traditional paper and pencil method, made all the difference in her learning. The tutors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in her success, Joey is an amazing human being and he revamped this location to a whole different level. The Torrance Mathnasium program is structured well. Students know where and how to access their learning materials. Students are in small groups and helped with whatever skill they need help with. Parents receive a progress report every time they attend which is very helpful for the parent to know exactly how their child is progressing. I highly recommend the Torrance Mathnasium to meet your child’s math needs!

My daughter was really struggling in math at the beginning of the junior high school year but after just a couple months she learned so much and enjoyed going for tutoring. All of the tutors and staff are very friendly and helpful.

My son has improved significantly in his math class. My biggest surprise is that, since joining he has improved not just in math but in all of his classes. The habits he is forming is carrying over to his other classes.

Mathnasium is such a great place to get your child caught up and help with math anxiety. I appreciate their systematic approach to building missing math foundations. Progress and student need are transparent. I would highly recommend Mathnasium for any parent whose child has math anxiety.

During the 1st month, my kids showed drastic improvement in math skills. Guaranteed results for sure. Great staff ! All instructors are extremely knowledgeable and well qualified as most are either computer, engineering and/or math majors. Parth and Jennifer explained the program in detail and developed a lesson plan based on results of an initial assessment test. Progress is actively monitored and documented. Excellent math tutoring program.

tutoring has made a huge difference in my child’s education… last few years have been a great struggle, but since we started coming here my girl has been passing every class… the people working with the kids are amazing they try different techniques to help the children understand the lessons…

Torrance Mathnasium is great! My daughter is fairly strong in math but they taught her other methods for her pre-algebra that she found easier and better comprehend. School seems to tech one way but Mathnasium offers multiple ways that better replicate life and various learning styles.

My son likes going to Mathnasium to get help with his high school math. He finds tutors are very helpful and supportive.

Patrick, who is the site manager, is extremely personable, easy to approach and works well with both parents and students. I really appreciate how he takes time to explain the program and it's goals to me.

My daughter also enjoys working with Ms. Gemma and the other teachers.

The staff is willing to help with math problems aside from the required curriculum. However, I do wish that there were more rigorous reviews of Pre- Algebra and Algebraic problems for my daughter.

I am grateful and happy to see the results of my daughter's math test results! We have been only for one month and we are already seeing the results of her math tutoring sessions. Mathnasium is conveniently located. It is walking distance from Torrance high school. It is helping to improve my daughter's C in Algebra 2 and also improving her math foundation.

I’ve only had my son at the facility for a month, but I appreciate the genuine kindness of the the staff there and their willingness to help my son succeed. They respond to emails and texts in a timely manner.

It’s a friendly environment and makes comfortable for kids to learn.
