Very crowded studio.
So many different classes that are available
Counter staff is absolutely amazing, and the teachers are incredible
Instructor Lisa! So easy to sign up. Instructor was utterly welcoming of every level of skill. Only place for improvement would be that the room was crowded and not at all pretty.

The staff was really friendly and understanding when it turned out my 10-punch pass had expired. I hadn't been able to do yoga for about 2 months Because I had become pregnant and felt absolutely awful while doing yoga. They were so nice to extend my pass, so that I could still use the 6 classes I had left. I actually didn't even know that that 10-class pass had an expiry date, so I was very surprised and upset to find this out.
They were great and even gave me a schedule with all of the pregnancy-friendly classes highlighted.

Location & outlook of the studio is great.
please do not let people into class that are more than 5 min late or interact them to take a space that is at the back of the room not disturbing the practitioners that were on time

The studio gets overcrowded. Sessions start late in order to pack as much people as possible without respecting people who arrive early. Seems to get worse year after year

I'm only rating a seven because current friends are not living in Vancouver and the commute may most likely mean not trying yoga for them. Otherwise I would be happy to recommend them. I also prefer a smaller group when I practise yoga but I realize that is my personal preference.

Crowd control is essential in a space with such limited waiting areas for consecutive classes. I work nearby & love the proximity and space but last week i came out of a class feeling untouchably peaceful to be faced with masses of bodies charging in before people had left the room.to be expected at a music festival.not a yoga studio.may not continue membership if things dont change.either renovate, move space or control your numbers.it's simple.
I love that I don't have to bring my own mats. I like when yoga happens spontaneously :)
The instructors
I love being right on the water at the sea studio. Very peaceful, no traffic, nice to be able to look out at the False Creek ferries going by
