Mathnasium has been an amazing experience for our daughter. Prior to joining, she was struggling with math and was very behind her class. After a few months, her confidence has significantly improved and she loves math!
It has been a month since my son started attending this center. He is very happy about what he is doing there. And he feels especially the instructors are really nice, helpful and supportive all the time.
Both my daughters attend Mathnasium and they love it. For the first time they actually started liking math.
We were skeptical of the school board plan for a quadmester system, worrying what level of foundational learning could be possible in 10 week courses, to be revisited some 42 plus weeks later. Very quickly it became apparent that our grade nine student was becoming a casualty of the instability of the system (in school and the lock down on line, technology challenges in delivering curriculum). Joining Mathnasium part way into the course permitted a moderate level of success when trending was towards possibly failing. Engaging with Mathnasium for the entire year allowed for an excellent level of success, demonstrated in the grade 10 year. Grade 9 overall ended with a grade of 65% and the Grade 10 first test covering all of Grade 9 curriculum scored 95%. The level of confidence and ability to finally enjoy attending math class is the greatest gift of all.
