It's been slow since everything to do with COVID19... but generally speaking the YMCA typically has a wide range of activities to choose from.
My children really like dance, sports, science, art, guitar and music, as well as open gym. We've also hosted several family birthday parties at the Petrolia YMCA.
I myself enjoy use of the fitness room, Aquafit and adult swimming lessons/classes, as well as yoga and adult art night.
I enjoy that it is a smaller facility.
Good Variety of programs for all ages and because of that you get to know the instructors more easily.

I like the people who greet me each time I come and who enthusiastically help whenever I need it.
I love the water aerobics. All the instructors try their best to give us a good workout. I can't wait to get in the pool.

I play pickleball. use the gym occasionally, and attend the boomers lunch on Thursdays.
I love the pickleball. people are so nice and friendly. Lots of choice for times to play
Same for the boomer's lunch. Nice people and interesting speakers after the lunch.
I think the Petrolia YMCA is small enough that you are not just another number the staff remember me and ask of my day. But it is large enough that it provides any program I might be interested in.
I have been a member of 3 other YMCA over the years. Cambridge, Stratford, Sarnia.
I have found Petrolia Y to be the friendliest

My kids have loved the swimming program. Great teachers and the small classes allow for some extra one on one time.

I love the staff and the facilities. Everybody is so helpful and great with my family. We're there multiple times a week and it's always a great experience.
I like the hours available and the variety of equipment apparatuses. The staff is also very helpful.
The aqua-fit program is an integral part of my wellness program. The staff and instructors are always warm and welcoming and they create a cheerful atmosphere every time.
Time (9 am group classes work great for me). Love the childcare option. Like the layout/space of the bathroom/changeroom. Looking forward to swimming lesson becoming available again.
New member & have only been to the aquafit classes. Great instruction. Facilities are very clean
The variety of programs cover a wide range of abilities for members. I also appreciate that staff are open to listening to members' input.
