For me the most convenient thing is the online check in. When I needed a haircut recently, I checked in and found that the wait time was over three hours.
Although that was longer than I hoped for, it was nice to be able to wait at home, cleaning the kitchen, playing with my dog, etc.
As it happens, I'm a retired guy with an extremely flexible schedule, so your scheduling system works quite well for me.
I don't know if you'd be willing to invent a reservation system "haircut next Tuesday at 2:00 PM" but that would probably give you access to people with a more constrained schedule.
For the time being, your current scheduling system works extremely well.
plus: I got a perfectly fine haircut. Turns out that I'm not particularly picky about the haircuts I get, but yours was just fine (from a woman named Sydney in Spokane Valley, WA).
The ease of scheduling an appointment and the fact that I was secrved on time.
