Due to the pandemic and the implementation of virtual learning, we noticed an impact on my sons math marks. His learning style isn't conducive to online learning and requires a learning environment where he can access 1:1 support if needed. If he was consistently achieving high marks in Math and could adapt to a virtual education learning style, I would still be concerned but not as much as I was this year. With High School approaching next year, we wanted him to be prepared and confident as he approached the subject next year.
Due to the lockdowns, it was difficult to find help or tutoring in London but I was familiar with the Mathnasium brand from the GTA.

We enrolled at Mathnasium North East in the fall and have been attending classes weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Jesse has been very helpful on progress updates and my son enjoys the 1:1 support he gets from the staff there.

On our son's first school progress report, we noticed a slight improvement in his marks but during a recent parent/teacher progress call, his teacher says he's consistently achieving above-average marks and she's seen a significant improvement in his confidence in approaching the curriculum. The school year is coming to an end in June and we were relieved to hear that our investment and time spent at Mathnasium is providing positive returns.
I was recently bragging about the experience we've had at Mathnasium to a friend and he called me today to let me know that he has enrolled his son as well.

We look forward to attending Mathnasium throughout my son's high school years as well!

Mathnasuim is amazing 👏 not only is the staff and owner very friendly and professional, they know how to reach even the toughest student, they have amazing techniques that are so simple to understand, that even when you don't think you are getting it, you see the answers and realize wow I get it. There is a lot of good diversity.

Both my children are improving.
