I love the Les Mills classes. I wish there was more floor mat space to do abs, stretch ect. I also would love to see more updates equipment in the gym. Lastly, I feel that the studios could use a better clean.
The gym is not crowded and I seldom have to wait on a equipment to free up. There are nice optional programs and great kids activities for the family. It is also very close to where i live.
I am a new member and very impressed with what the Y has to offer… the instructors and classes are wonderful. Would like to see more yoga classes offered in the 9:15 time slot with the addition of a power vinyasa class. The exterior painting looks fantastic, hoping the locker rooms/bathrooms are next to update. The staff is very friendly and professional. Glad to be a member!
I actually just use the gym, I don't attend any classes. But the variety of offerings is great ,and I love all the stuff the Y has for kids.
Location, people, equipment, staff, classes, trainers…all top notch and willing to go above & beyond. And the pool is fantastic.

I value our Y because of the great variety of classes with excellent instructors. I particularly appreciate that the classes are tailored to the population, with accommodations for the level of each student. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the facility and the variety of machines available. Plus a very responsive staff!

The Pool!
After 13 years I’m a little tired of the Les Mills classes and was looking for something new. I looked into Barre, Yoga Barre and Jazzercise, but what I particularly like about the Y is that it’s not “one-note”, there’s a variety of classes to choose from. So I tried a few new classes that mixed up my routine (barre, TONE, senior boot camp, yoga on Monday (that’s not at 8AM and not another Body Balance, YAY) and the terrific monthly yoga workshops. Happy to see Pure Strength twice a week now. Would love to see another 10:15 yoga class in the schedule in 2024, besides just Monday. So my weekly schedule is pretty well rounded now, with strength training, stretching, and cardio.
The facility is uncluttered and clean (room A floor sometimes not so much) and I love the new outside painting colors, looks clean and fresh. I feel lucky to have such a nice facility so close to my home. Thank you!
Swimming laps. Prefer YMCA to the masters swim team I swim with in Sarasota!
I like that the gym opens early on weekdays. I wish weekend hours were earlier. I like the childcare, but wish it was available more on weekends at more convenient hours. I like the kid classes. But I remember when swim lessons and karate were much more affordable

Something for everyone. Hours of business are sufficient to meet needs.
I like the variety of classes, time options and your instructors are great.
Gym equipment is in good shape and you have a nice variety to choose from.
My favorite part of attending there is the sanitizing wipes and garbage located in different areas of the facility.
Your members are kind as well.

Instructors are great. Plus they never complain if i leave a class early. Sometimes I need to leave.
