My son looked forward to seeing the kids at camp. I liked that he stays active, outside, engaged all day. The counselors really were friendly and learned the kids names. As a single parent I also like thag he was around positive male role models.

AFTERSCHOOL YMCA

My granddaughter has attended camp at Swift Creek YMCA. A wonderful experience for her. Counselors are spectacular!!

Love that they are outdoors all day. My daughter loves archery, marksmanship, and the rock wall/obstacle course. And that they get to swim daily. She has made some really nice friends at camp over the years and always loves her counselors.

My girl feels supported and seen by the counselors. They are reasonably priced. The hours fit what I need.

I really like all the activities the kids get to experience throughout the summer. The counselors also seem to really like being around the kids which makes a difference in how my kids feel about going. When they know they are going to be with people that really care about them, they have more fun.

My son LOVES camp. I was a bit nervous as changes can be a bit hard for him but he looks forward to it everyday. He he comes happy and glowing each day. I love that the kids are outside and screen free for most of the day. As a kiddo with stage fright, I had a good chuckle when he was a tad hoarse from participating in all the camp cheers and songs. Each day he comes home and tells me a little bit about his day (a rarity for him) and it's one of my favorite things. Swimming each day is a big bonus in my eyes as I consider it a life skill not an activity. After some reluctance, he is participating and I can see his strokes improving week over week.

I will definitely be sending him each summer and his little sister cannot wait to join him when she is old enough.

Variety of activities, not on once place too long. Oldest group helps with younger ones to build leadership skills, friendly staff.

Kennedy and her staff have done an amazing job taking care of my son! He loves going to camp and hanging out with the counselors. All of them made his feel very special when he got adopted and cheered and celebrated him and made a true effort to use his new name! Love them!
